| What do you miss about being in a relationship?

I miss making love.
Ok, I left that out. But I left it out on purpose because it was just too fornicating obvious..  
I don't think I've made love at all in a very long time and I miss it more than I will ever miss sex. (If you don't understand that, please get yourself neutered!) | |

| What do you miss about being in a relationship?

But if it's love you're talking about...
I miss throwing myself at him and crying my heart out because one of my best friends was diagnosed with cancer.
I miss that Look, oh GOD, that look that could make my knees buckle from a thousand yards.
I miss being completely comfortable with my body, because every laugh line was from laughter we'd shared, and every stretchmark was from a baby that he'd held as soon as it was born, and every extra pound was from a meal we'd shared together, and he loved it all...

Are ya'll talking about "being in a relationship", or "being in love"? Because for me, the two are very different.
I don't think I could ever make them differ for me. Sigh.
And I don't think I've been in love for at least ten years.
I have a lot of years on you. Sigh again.

Ok, I missed dealing with the cancer thing while I was in love. (Did deal with friends and cancel later. Sigh!) But the rest sure brings back memories. (Can I sigh again or is it getting old?)
Crap. I'm depressed again...

Posted: 6/18/2007 6:17:37 AM | Don't miss being in love in a relationship because I have only been in love twice and neither were a woman I was in a relationship with.
I have loved all the women I've been with but only been  with a woman who was in a relationship with another man and a woman who was in a relationship with another woman.
In both cases I learn too late that, had I let my feelings be known, things may have been different.
One reason I let my feelings be known way to soon which scares women off.
Can't win for losin'.

Plumbers, electricians, car repairmen, handymen, contractors- they all see a single woman and suddenly the price doubles.

while you are known for your wit and sarcasm , eeek...some actually take this crap at face value...
look around you will some with hundreds of favs...that is because they never delete them and they accumulate.
I'd have hundreds if I did not delete them on occasion...and I have people who put me on because I review their profiles and occasionally host some party...not because I have x # of girlfriends.
Beyond all this- if I had a girlfriend, I would not have time to write reviews OR the inclination posting drivel on a discussion forum at 1:30 am. | |

That look from afar that makes you feel like you are the only woman in the room .
The text message in the middle of the day telling me I am missed.
Conversations in the dark that last hours.
Holding hands.
Feeling sexy.
Not sleeping because there are better things to do.  | |
