| What do you miss about being in a relationship?

I miss the long strong hugs that made me feel safe, and the passionate kisses I didn't want to stop having. I miss having someone that called me every night to tell me "sweet dreams, I'll call you in the morning" and I really just miss someone that I could connect with on not only a physical but a mental level. That I could have long, meaningful, and intimate conversations with and believe it or not, I miss all the arguments too.........and the make up kisses afterwards. :) | |

Gods above I miss that! I think I only had that experience a few times

That's the problem. Once you've had that kind of love and lost it you end of feeling like the theme song from Oh, Brother! Where Art Thou? Oh, ok, you might just end up feeling numb instead. | |

Once you have had that kind of love, you are ruined! It is so hard to duplicate.

The times she would fall alseep in my arms while watchin a flick-
The long time spent at the store, lookin thru all the cards till I found the right one jus for her-
The little gifts I would surprise her with-
Opening the front door, to that smell of home cookin goin on in the kitchen, knowing I got a mess to clean-
Knowing the dirty clothes are being handled-
Loved the grocery shoppin, learnin and discussing what is ok to get, and what we do not need...
Feeling useful, as I was needed to do the big jobs around the house-
Talkin about what we saw, where we went, and what we missed, after a trip-
The wonderful feeling each time we went to bed, and after we made love...
The cute way she looked before gettin up in the Mornings-
Always having to pick a GOOD movie, when she wanted to watch one-
Surprising her in the shower, when she was not expecting me and ME-
Knowing it was not worth the time or energy to argue with her-
Gettin a call at work, when she is missing me-
Telling her many times, everyday ..."I love you!"-
Knowing that I am special.......... to just one woman!!! | |

I miss long road trips.
I miss going to Vegas for nothing more than walking around, visiting outside the city, making love in the room many stories up w/ the window open.
