I'[ve dealt with my ghosts and I've faced all my dreams.
Finally content with the past I regret.

I miss honesty.
I miss being able to say what is in my heart and not worrying how it might be received.
I miss laughing at nothing.
I miss a dazzling smile just because she opened the door and saw my face.
I miss sharing a oneness so deep that,"when one cries the other tastes salt".
I miss brushing a lock of hair from her brow, cupping her cheek in my hand, her closing her eyes and rubbing her face in my hand in a feline gesture and letting out an almost inaudible moan.
I miss pleasing her totally, before I even take off my shirt.
I miss giving the foot or full body massage.
I miss washing every inch of her body.
I miss a kiss I carry upon my lips all day.
I miss gazing deeply into her eyes and knowing every thought in her mind.
I miss her heart drumming wildly against my chest in a moment of passion.
I miss falling asleep and waking up with her on my mind.
I miss knowing what she will say before she does.
I miss spending a day in the kitchen making a meal we will rush through so we can get to the desert.
Right now I miss spell check
I miss laying awake at night listening to the sound of her breathing
I miss helping her pick out a new outfit.
I miss waking up with a start and her sleeping hand reaching out with a comforting pat.
I miss her cursing when I leave the toilet seat up.

I miss her asking, "Do these jeans make my butt look fat?"

Posted: 6/2/2007 1:02:51 PM | I posted "Movin' On" and dedicated it to all of the fish in the pond in hopes it would inspire you all the way it did me. I wanted everyone to read it so I posted in other forums to go to it. If it annoyed or upset anyone I am sorry.
I thought the point of POF and the forums was to get to know each other, bounce our thoughts and feelings off each other, and maybe help one another through the trying process of finding love in our lives.
If I am swimming in the wrong pond let me know.
I did learn something from it all. There are fishes who truely care about their fellow guppies and there are those who do not. For that one reason I have no regret. I also learned not to post after a couple of martinis and a sleepless week!
When reading future posts please keep in mind Mako Sharks are not the most brilliant of fish.

Your post sounded like a cry for help, and many of us were deeply worried about you and your state of mind. Add to that the fact that we could not contact you, and it was a rough night for all.
This is, indeed, a place where we can come together and be there for each other. I think the amount of people that were worried about you last night proves that.
Lord knows, I've been guilty of a lot of public whining here lately. But when I truly need help and advice, I talk to some of the many phenomenal people here in Cali through private emails and on the phone. They are some of the wisest fish in the sea.
I would urge you to do the same, and even if you've had a few martinis, be careful that what you're posting really comes across in the way you mean it. | |

What do I miss about a relationship that I have not allready said...
I miss having someone to write poems to. Break ups sure have made for some great lyrics though!
I don't miss the women because I'm still friends with them.

I miss having someone to share coffee with on a lazy Saturday or Sunday morning. Just hanging out in our jammies sipping coffee and brain storming about life.
Just brew up a pot of fresh coffee CaliGal, sit down in your jammies, turn on your computer, dial in Plenty of Fish and let your brain storm on the keyboard. Someone is bound to answer. You'll not only have 'someone', you'll have us all, fat and small, big and tall and ornery and surely horny all. ~  .......have a great Sunday all ~  | |
