I was 19 as well and was dating a 41 years old professional that was separated and had a son 5 years younger than me,lol

But I would never date a 19yr old, thatst he same age as my son!!! I have had 19 yr olds ask me out but I do have a limit on how young I would date, I am sorry but there is no way in heck I would have anything in common with a 19yr old, we are in 2 completly different times in our lives mentally. Now on the other hand my 19 yr old is way more mature than some of the 50yr olds I have dated as our other guys that age. In most cases age is just a number except if you are 47 and the guy is 19,lol. | |

Posted: 9/4/2008 11:18:34 PM | depends on what you want to do... if you just want to sit around and do nothing then that would be a problem. but if you are out doorsy person such as u like walks in the beach & park or going to Robson Street or Downtown vancouver in general then that would be okay.
I myself, is an older woman who had gone out & been engaged with older men when i was younger now that i am older been going out with Younger men. So as I said it all depends on what you like to do on your spare time. I myself spend time playing with video games as well seeing I have younger brothers too but on a date find something more Productive. gettting drunk isn't something good to do on a first date either.... | |

*Not much in common. Need to have something to talk about
*Most are not out of the party phase
*Especially @ 19..you are an adult.. though you are venturing into adulthood. Ten years ago.. things were so different!
*Men are more casual at 19.. When you're 10 years older or such.. not so much for a female.
If you just want to have fun.. different story. | |

if i can be bothered again i would rather go for younger women as they , in most cases tend to look up and respect older men , some older women can still actually tease and torment men and play mind games, its not just younger women that are imature.................its women of all ages that will still tease and torment. | |

A - Because they are really annoying and ask alot of stupid questions.
I am amazed when asked out by young guys, it just seems weird to me and I have a son the OP's age. I am not wanting to be a future episode on Jerry Springer. I prefer men that know what they're doing, that have some maturity. | |

maybe that is why. some people dont want so much the dating, but they want to know they are cared for as a human being.
No one could understand his language and didnt want to be bothered. I am a very caring person and my heart really felt for him as he struggled to get his message across.
I explained to him he needed to SLOW down and take his time to talk and people would very much hear him.
(oops. hard to drop the tail after that. ) lol
I think that kindness plays an important role in how we feel.
I think POF needs to weed out the older messages and/or let new ones be posted on the same topic because by the time you get to these OLD topics the OP is long gone~~~
ANYONE agree?? That after a couple years and the OP is gone that a new thread on said topic be allowed???
