I wore a nice shirt, a knee-length skirt, heels, and some pantyhose. Boy did I get a lot of attention that day! I'm not used to getting hit on very often, but that day I was hooted at from a passing car, had at least 4 guys try to pick me up, and got tons of flirty looks. I was blown away! The next day of the event, I wore the same heels, the same shirt in a different color, and a very similar skirt in keeping with the different color scheme. No nylons that time, since the one pair I had was demolished the day before. I got no more attention the second day than usual. Same venue, same attitude, nearly the same clothes; I seriously believe it had to be the pantyhose. I think I'll have to start wearing the things more regularly now! | |

Or in winter tights. 40 denier is perfect where you can still see the leg and toes and so on trough the nylon. The average woman becomes way above average if she is wearing in my eyes ! I have found this attractive since I was young when hose was common place in the 70' and 80's. Yes do a search on pantyhose on the internet without safe search on and you will see all kinds of sites that cater to this fetish and here I thought I was the only one lol.
Dating wise most women I have met have been really open to it. It can had a lot for me and her because of course you can wear them any where and as you say they are destructable lol! Funny talking about this in the summer though even I don't expect a lady to wear hose in the summer. | |

Posted: 7/1/2008 6:12:58 PM | Aye! I actually prefer stockings but same basic idea. Nylon just makes legs look better. It's too bad that outside of certain social circles (i.e. the goth crowd), women tend to avoid any kind of leg wear at all anymore.
Once upon a time such hotness was commonplace in everyday female attire. Now I only get a boner at weddings and funerals. What a shame.
Honestly why is it that men seem to only like the things that are so darn uncomfortable? Maybe its time that they go back to hose, high heels, and powdered wigs...................
May be men should reassess what is sexy and what is just ridiculous
Oh, don't give me that. Most women have NO problem doing all kinds of painful and uncomfortable things to look good in any generation. Half my friends are chicks. They'll squeeze themselves into all kinds of things that don't fit, wear shoes that hurt their feet for 8 hours straight, and go through all kinds of miserable beauty rituals just to look as pretty as possible. | |

I both agree & diagree with the posts regarding this topic. I agree that pantyhose DO look sexy on women. I also agree that they are uncomfortable in the sense of being itchy, hot, etc. I live in south Florida...& I rarely see women wear pantyhose. It's too darn hot here! I will wear them for formal events & business attire...but that is not often & usually in the cooler months. The bare leg has become attractive nowadays. But like I said...there still is something sexy about pantyhose. Stockings/thigh highs being held up by a garter belt are sexy as well, without as much of a hassle as panthose. Much cooler, too! LOL!
I worked at Hooters when I was out of high school. We HAD to wear pantyhouse...and buy them on our own dime. It was a pain, but it "looked" sexier. It concealed imperfections so to speak. I didn't mind it then. But when I became pregnant...and still worked at Hooters...it was ridiculous! I had to cut the pantyhose in front & down the middle to fit my growing belly...haha. Now THAT was funny...as was the fact that I worked at Hooters up until I gave birth to my daugher.  | |

but i prefer stockings
tight sai can wear for a couple of hours at most
but love the lok and feel of nylons on my leg and i get more comments looks etc when i wear nylons

Posted: 8/11/2008 6:46:36 AM | OP, I'm guessing you mean stockings as I can't believe you find panty hose (often associated with droopy gussets!) all that attractive! If you do then the risk of yeast infection and the fragileness of them would be my reasoning.
Stay up stockings are held up by a plastic strip inside the top, they leave a horrid line around the top of your leg, can be uncomfortable if work over long periods and I guess probably aren't that good for your circulation. Under some clothes the edge can cause unsightly lumps too.
The same goes for garters.
The type of stockings that require suspenders, well its not the stockings, its the suspenders. Again unsightly lines under clothes, yet another close fitting strap around you that interferes with comfort...
However, I do think my legs look better with them on so usually do wear stockings when I'm in a skirt/dress. Sometimes pantyhose if I think it works better under my outfit, but never if I think the top part might be seen at any point(Eughhh!).
They're an essential part of pretty much any outfit I wear when I want to feel very sexy, or just need a boost.
I'm surprised you think they're so rare, I hadn't noticed. I guess women are finding trousers more practical these days. | |

There's a girl in the office that dresses very nice and professionaly, but never wears nylons when she wears a skirt. It looks very sloppy and unfinished. I've even heard other women in the office say the same thing. So at least in a professional setting I think they are appropriate to wear, even though they may be a nightmare to deal with. | |

Hot and sweaty. Reshapes the ass so much that you can get a really bad surprise when they are removed. (Worse than a wonderbra IMO) Running your hand along a woman's leg, with nylons, is like fingernails on a chalkboard. Besides, I like nice tan muscular legs on women. You can't tell what you've got, until it's too late, with pantyhose. | |
