Right here's my info: I took 407 frames & have edited them down to 336 suitable for publication but there are 1 or 2 duplicates in that number so expect somewhere in the region of 300 pics from me, these have just been emailed to Laine & I am now off for a soak in the bath, been sat here since early this morning! (PS: Lins fast asleep & snoring soundly on the sofa - the lightweight!).
There will also be pics from Sebastian & others so please be patient but I'm sure Laine will get them uploaded before the week's out.

Posted: 2/18/2007 9:05:24 AM | right... I'm almost recovered..still got a few missing hours of sleep to catch up on, but that will be sorted in a few when I get on the settee.
What a damned funny night that was. I'm worn out from laughing so much.
Meeting all the forum members felt so natural, like I'd never not known them. Laine, Kaz, Lily, TTG, Chorlton, Lalby and her mum Sue, and GG I've met already, so it was like being in a school reunion!
Then last night a few more class comrades: Student nurse (what a chick!) Mike Bradley, Hams, Pants, Poshviks, Aerosoul, Rowlie, Guvvnor (plied me with spritzers xx), Scottishbluebell and Stuart, and poss more - apologies if I've forgotten.
I had the pleasure of helping Laine sign in the partygoers and chose the men!.. (what ulterior motive?  ) and was happy to see that along with about 270 site members signed in, we also took in about 60 guests of their's too. The place was well-packed, and as someone has mentioned, the bar did appear understaffed.
The 'event of the evening' though, in a few of us' eyes was when me and Lily and Robster were dancing. Suddenly a woman rushed forwards heading towards the toilet. She stopped dead in her tracks and held her hand to her mouth which was trying to contain the projectile vomit coming from it. We all froze and then a little lady called nova-lady scuttled off to the toilets too desperately trying to brush all the spew off her entire front!!.. poor poor thing!!
The spewster (forgot her name, but I'm sure she'll be here posting soon), stepped over her puddle of spew on the dance floor  and went to the ladies aswell.
I went to help out and saw nova lady brushing and dabbing everywhere. She eventually took her skirt off in the ladies and cleaned it as best she could, whilst half complaining that she could still 'smell it'.
Me and Lily were in hysterics, and even more so when Lil came into the ladies and the spewster was apologising profusely to nova lady.. (you had to be there  )
Best thing was though, when we all got back to the dance floor again, a bloke came up to nova lady and took her name tag, saying 'I'll be in touch with you tomorrow' .. SHE'D COPPED!!! bless her, she took it so well.
It was truly great to meet so many people from the site and sadly it was over far too soon. I belive they're going to give us an extension till 2pm next time, so fingers crossed.
Thanks Laine for all the running round you did on our behalf and enduring your own difficulty with grace and humour.. you're an absolute darling. love you loads.. XXXX | |

Firstly - thanks to Laine and the crew for a superb night. With an extra special thanks to Mr Bradley for the badge, the looking after of my coat, and taking me back to my hotel.
Then, as far as I can remember, in order of meeting.
Caz and Lily - what an entertaining cup of coffee, in a cheap and cheerful cafe in the market area. And for making sure I got on the bus to the hotel
Lalby for being the first person I officially spoke to - she was at the front of the queue, and I went to my rightful place at the back.
Then of course Laine and Ferni - the first of the official greeters, closely followed by Mike, Vik and Pants, and I think Linda. And I understand no meet would be complete without the unofficial offical POF photographic guy - I did try to dodge him but unfortunately he managed to snap me about a dozen times, if not more, so I apologise in advance if I get in more than my fair share of pictures.
And then, at the bottom of the stairs, the very lovely Guvvnor, who looked after me very well. And got me very very very drunk. And then some
Then there was Lalby again, Chorlton, Aerosoul (how I never picked him up and brought him home with me in my handbag I don't know) And of course Hams, which reminds me I do have to go and update my testimonial to him. And Robster who also contributed to my drunkenness 
And the the mentions would not be complete with Scottish Bluebell, Suga, Student Nurse, Suga's friend Carrie who's profile name I forget, Pete (who told me I was a dark horse), TopCat (i think), and Huck Finn from the forest!
And to the man who gave me a good night kiss - thank you 
Oh and Jazzgirl, who came up to me at the very end of the night and said "I just can't go home without saying hello to Georgiegirl" In fact I forget the number of people who did say it.
And the fella who spent about half an hour reminiscing about his youth in Newport. 
And should Laine decide to post the pic of my boobs - it was an accident I tell you | |

Myself, my bf (ian549), realwoman 1963 and our mate mick goode had a fantastic time!!
It was the best by far of the three meets I have been to!!
Well done to the organisers!! Music was great. Atmosphere was even better!

And thanks to Josh from Mansfield and his mate for making us laugh so much!! (And giving me the new name 'Doris' lol)

Posted: 2/18/2007 11:17:05 AM | Well it's Sunday evening ,my head has stopped ringing from the music, my bones have nearly stopped creaking from the dancing, my blood pressure is nearly down to normal after watching all the gorgeous women who turned up and already I am anticipating the next meet! For all of you who got cold feet, Great stuff folks you left more space for us party people, for those who for genuine reason of health baby sitters letting down or whatever Dam PEEPS ya missed a mega party! Get down to the next local meet and have a double dollop of fun as compensation. For everyone who made the effort to come please book yourself down to a big Pat on the back, for those who were terrified, you are down in the book for a double gold star and I sincerely hope everyone woke up with a smile on your faces from having a wale of a time.
and on a personal note my dancing partners Student nurse !!!!!HHHMMMMM need a massage !

Mags as in the legendary Georgie girl, ya gave new meaning to lady in red!!
and the one lady I can't remember your sign in (Mags???) but from Worcester, a true dancer!

It was great to meet some more of the guys off the forums,aerosol cant believe i didnt notice you at first but it was good to meet you,was great to meet georgiegirl i will have to add you to my favs now and write a testomonial about you as i think your fab,was great to see all the people i had already met again,and glad the scots made it.Chorlton im sorry i left your vodka in the hotel,it was good tho n kept me going till 6 this morning,lol

(dont worry the rest will be in english!)glad you had a good night too. was stood behind you in queue going in - enjoyed the banter you had with sue and the story of her stalker in the city centre earlier in the day and you werent that short really.
hope you can organise a do for south wales as i do have friends on the site over there (my mum farms in the smallest town in britain - so small the speed limit signs are back to back - or is it bach to bach?) so know a few folks through the site who could do with something a little more local to them.
anyway, another great night at the malt house and good to see some old friends and chat to a few in person for the first time too. word is really getting around now- looks like we will need the n.i.a. if it gets any bigger.
thanks go to laine, shan vikki mike bradley and co for their organising again - look forward to seeing the pictures as without my glasses i couldnt read everyones name tag - must be my age - lol!
