| What was the first bicycle you rode? Posted: 10/1/2008 9:00:45 AM | Oh I had a blue Raleigh too. I remember getting it for Christmas, my Great Uncle dressed up as Santa came up my Grandparents drive pushing my bike and ringing the bell with a sack of pressies over his shoulders too, I was the eldest cousin and was so excited when I realised it was for me!
EDIT: Just remembered I got a stern stare from my Granny for announcing that it wasn't Santa at all but Uncle Alistair as my younger cousins climbed onto his knee!

The last bike I rode was the ex wife...........

| What was the first bicycle you rode? Posted: 10/23/2008 9:16:16 AM | Henry - a 'sturmey archer' red and white old post mans bike that I bought off my local Headmaster. I then went through a 'chopper' and a 'chipper' phase onto a vicars wife's bike bought in Peckham. Saw art college through with a 'shopper' so naff nobody stole it even though I never locked it up til finally my favourite Henry I have now - my first bike bought brand new with a customised 'female' seat;)
I used to go off on my bike all day dawn 'til dusk no sandwiches or drink, in the summer holidays. 'Twas brillig.....washing line pegs for motor effect, stuck in the back spokes.
