| What I want to do on my summer vacation...
Posted: 7/14/2007 6:18:38 PM | I won't have a vacation this summer. This is a hypothetical answer so I'm going to dream big! 
I'm going to Kansas City, St. Paul, and Chicago to visit friends. From Chicago I'm going to get on route 66 and drive from one end to the other. Then I'm going to Alaska and Hawaii. When I get back to the mainland I'm going to spend some time exploring the western states. By the time I get done with all this it will be fall, so I'll head to New England to check out the fall colors before heading back to Ohio.
Now that's a vacation!  | |

Posted: 7/16/2007 4:49:42 AM | | i want to take that alaskan cruise I been talking about for 10 years..but now I want it to last 3 weeks..and then take the bike thru canada down the pacific, then the Swest..spend a week in Dallas w/ family and heck its a great place then the Ozarks straight north to Minnnesota for a few of the 10,000 lakes..take the ferry across form Wisconsin to Michdown and around the lakes and up to Maine..then down the coast to N C..get some sun then finally back to ohio...well By my best estimates this shoud take 8 weeks..guess I better save 20 k too... | |

Posted: 7/18/2007 4:05:08 PM | I am going to New York this week. I plan on going horseback riding, boating, riding in a speed boat, fishing for bass and perch, camping out, hiking, play cards, going dancing, talking to relatives, a cookout, and just having a wonderful time of it.  | |

I have a few mini vacations this summer...
My daughter and I spent a day at Kings Island...
My bestfriend and I went to Toronto to see Nickelback, Daughtry, and Puddle of Mudd...
My daughter and I along with my bestfriend and her daughter are planning a trip to Cedar Point too...

I'm a Navy Veteran, and I drive a truck for a living. There aren't too many places I haven't been.
Last year I went to California, to visit some people. I went to Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, and Universal Studios, all in a week. That was just too much tourist attraction for me.
This summer, I plan on spending a few days going to Pow Wow's, and visiting some people in the sticks of West Virginia. You know, way back in the woods, where sunshine is a commodity.
Next summer, my friends and I are planning a two week vacation to kayak down the Colorado River in Arizona. I would like to go through the Grand Canyon on our quest. I'm facinated with Indian culture, traditions, and ettiquette. | |

Posted: 7/22/2007 7:37:55 AM | | ...did the country concert in ft. loramie with rosie, cowboy and cindy...what an adventure...just got back from tybee island, georgia...the beach and a beautiful wedding of a friends daughter...have 3 more weeks off until school starts...probably just fill it up with pof stuff and my kids...have a week off in october...hmmmmm...not sure where i will go for that one...it has been a wonderful summer...don't want it to end! | |

I have been to concerts with friends and got suspended here, went to Florida and floated in the ocean for three days with a drink or two in my hand and I got sun in places a man hasn't seen in ...well... never mind!
but I would like to go to Alaska too. | |

Posted: 7/23/2007 6:21:51 PM | Well my summer has pretty much came to an end. Football begins next week, so other then taking off work for the county fair my vacation days are over till Thanksgiving!
Enjoy those trips to the tropical island for me! Beaches, mountains, spa's all that fun stuff! | |
