Sign up quickly!!!!!!
If you follow the link to the the sign-up page for the camping trip you will see why the above quote is good advice. Two days into the sign-up there are 49 of 120 spaces left.
The actual sign-up does not reflect the total since some, including guests and children, will include as many as 8 for the one that is signed up. | |

The spots are going quick. If you want one then sign up quick.
Other camping venues have been unsuccessful in getting people interested. Those didn't involve central Ohio POFers so this one promises to set the example for all the camping trips to follow. Lets show everybody else how WE have fun!!

I'm an experienced canoer if anyone needs any instruction. There's nothing to it, but the more people who go, the more fun you have! 
Kids wear lifejackets at ALL times.............no exceptions! Even if they're walking on the shore. Currents are unpredictable, and I'd rather be safe than sorry.
Let's have a great camping experience, without any major occurences. Who will be packing the major first aid kit?
Does anyone remember what poison ivy looks like? 
Oh, and this camping trip is "Tent Camping Only."
No Campers or RV's! | |

I have been invited by the U.S. Marines to spend a week at their Educational Fair. I will have a week of basic training side by side with the Marine officer's. I can't pass up this great opportunity for not only my job but for my own personal gain.
I will leave on the bus out of Columbus Saturday and will be gone all week!

Do you know of a fold up camper that I can pull with a Toyota Matrix? Toyota dealer had no suggestions.
I have seen a few of the smaller tent campers, that look pretty decent. Open up the trailer and the tent folds out and it's actual tent camping, yet the tent is attached to the little trailer. Perfect for those with the small vehicle like a Toyota Matrix.
I saw one set up down the road from me (forget where), but thought that does look pretty fun. Tent camping at it's best, fold it up in it's own Trailer/box and pull away! | |

Posted: 4/2/2007 3:18:08 PM | Not sure how we will arrange the sleeping I kind of thought about putting tents that will hold children at night in a certain area so that we didn't waken them by the people that stayed up later...
Oh and by the way people ---- we reached the limit on the camping trip!!! Now we have a waiting list if someone backs out!
So if you told us you wanted to go and decide you can't - let me know asap! Because other people want to join in also.
If you can't stay overnight in the group area other options are avaialble - you can rent your own campsite and join us during the day or just drive down to spend the day with us on Saturday.

Posted: 5/8/2007 10:57:49 AM | For anyone that hasn't been following the camping event thread, you need to go there to confirm your space/spaces soon. The time is creeping up on us and since we are at capacity, anybody that doesn't confirm, those spaces could go to ones on the waiting list.
