I think from what I've seen, the City of New Braunfels has put a restriction on the size cooler you can float,,,, maybe just the little 6-pack size is all they allow. Not much space for drinks, sun block, keys, sunglasses, cigarettes and so on..
A lot of people are checking out the Frio River instead...

Nate, I told you to check out San Marcos, They dont have any regulations on the amount of beer or coolers. Plus Can yon lake is always a blast too.
