Precisely my point from my earlier thread. Why did you even bother to post, redmaiden??? You didn't bring anything constructive to the process. Instead, you just clouded the issue even more.
You see, people. Forums are good and bad. Each thread that starts off with good intentions is usually hi-jacked by people posting just to hear their head rattle.
Get back on point.

How about you and I hosting a get together at HH? For those of us who have big enough, well," you know whats" to show up! And the reason I would go is to EVEN OUT my tan lines, DUH. At least it would be outside of Comal County (which is where I live by the way) where all you have to do is look at the "authorities" funny and they will arrest you in a heartbeat. Not kidding either.
And don't y'all start in on me like you did Redmaiden about changing the thread, because I have offered to help out on this river thing already.

Posted: 4/21/2007 12:18:22 PM | I've always done the guadalupe .... used to tube it now i raft it. I've taken my kids down it since they were old enough to sit up (actually I went around the horseshoe at the top when I was first pregnant)........ Now they do it on their own... but my 22 year old son wants to jump on board, and i think my daughter wants to drag her future hubby along, since he's never been.....
We need to really plan this, or i'm headed out with my own friends and family. We usually camp at the top by the horseshoe, (or I prefer the hotels in New Braunfels) then you can get in the hot tub in the evening and soak your aching body....
This would top of June, since I'm going to see Kenny & Sugarland on the 16th of June!
Please someone advise........ the river is up.... I've already called a rafting company....

The trip is on June 22-24 (if you can't make it with this much notice...oh well)
Campground of choice is Mountain Breeze. http://www.mountainbreezecamp.com/
Go to the website for any details you may need.
Make your own reservations. They even have some cabins.
Go a party store before you come down and get one of those silver mylar balloons filled with helium and tie it to your campsite. That way all the PoFers can recognize each other.
Once the group starts to form that night we can all decide on which outfitter to use for tubes and possibly get a cheaper discount rate.

from what i can see of the posts, here are the locations suggested: Mountian Breeze, Rockinr and lazylandl. each of you that are committed to coming give me your vote. i will then contact the place and see if we can get a break in price. i will also need to know if you are camping in a tent or RV so i can check availability. if i remember correctly Mountainbreeze has some cabins. so here is what i need:
your name, how many in your party, if you need tent space, rv space or want to rent a cabin.
i think everyone should be on their own as far as drinks and food.
i will also check and see what is and isn't allowed on the river. have i forgotten anything?
