The "yappers" have changed the date of their Annual Guadalupe tubing trip to Friday, June 13 to Sunday, June 15, 2008
(Friday, June 13, 2008 @ 5:00 p.m. to Sunday, June 15, 2008 @ 12:00 p.m.) from the Mountain Breeze Campground (cost to camp: $20.00)
There will be groups from several different Texas cities meeting there: Austin, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio.
Mountain Breeze Campground is one of the largest campsites on the river. It has a large open area for open camping first come first serve, a bar\restaurant, lighted volleyball and restrooms with hot showers. It's $20 to camp and tubes are $15 each (including shuttle)!
If you think P.O.F. needs some representation.....let me know! I'm game. I think it sounds like fun!

Posted: 4/5/2008 12:02:39 PM | We posted a thread to try and choose the best weekend to do a tubing trip, but since no one ever seems to answer the polls, and since the emails that I have received point to the weekend of July 25- 27 for the tubing trip, we will probably be listing one thread for the state of Texas with a cross over thread for the Okies who might want to attend (that would include MOI!) announcing the trip very soon.
(Three months warning gives those who need to take off work or make arrangements for kiddos and pets time to do so.)
Keep watching for the forum thread and get signed up and start telling your friends as well.
