I hate being stuck in a kitchen while other activites are going on that I can't participate in because I am stuck cooking. I like to share so the work is lighter and the meal is more enjoyable. | |

Anyone up for lemon/herb, wood grilled pork tenderloin with grilled asparagus and a seasoned rice?

They think they are soooo good at it and they want to prepare a nice gormet meal for me but then the meal is spaghetti and they burned the sh*t out of the hamburger! I tell people I can't cook (can cook meals like spaghetti or lasagna) because I don't make 3 course meals. | |

Other than chefs...Ive only had one man cook for me...my ex hubby about 15 yrs ago.
Even then I only let him do it once...cos his idea of the perfect Sunday dinner was whole roasted & lathered Vegemite chicken. 
Vegemite = black, sharp tasting spread for toast, derived from yeast extract & a byproduct of beer making
Umm...yeah...I was traumatized... and that began my life as the Kitchen Nazi at home.
Frankly...I find men are best peeling vegies & scrubbing pots.
But honestly...Id adore a man who even went to the trouble of opening a can of baked beans & putting bread in the toaster. | |
