| How Do Ladies Feel About Guys That Can Cook Posted: 4/30/2008 10:37:27 AM | I've dated a few guys that have loved to cook. I was spoiled getting homemade egg rolls, pizza (homemade dough) and spaghetti with homemade sauce. I loved it. It's especially nice since I am not big on cooking. I can cook, and I can make some tasty food, but rarely am I in the mood to cook something that didn't come from a box.
Cooking is not a must, but it's an added bonus, scoring major brownie points so to speak.

If a man can savour and experiment with one of our basic needs(like food) and master it to an art he can probably do the same in other areas of our basic cravings. A man who cooks learns patience, to love the process-not just the end result and knows one dish does not a whole meal make..all things I'd like in a man.

I love a man that can cook...And yes, I mean a man that can cook WELL. Oh, that is such a huge turn on for me. Something so sexy about a man that knows his way around a kitchen... That is soooo yummm and I don't just mean the food he prepares, I mean the whole deal... It is very hot.

He doesn't have to be a chef, but he should know how to prepare and serve a meal - how else would he have survived before I met him?

Starszfalling,
Why would any woman not like the fact that a guy can cook? I'd bet that most women would feel RELIEVED that you can handle the cooking, especially if you're really good at it.

| How Do Ladies Feel About Guys That Can Cook Posted: 5/9/2008 7:28:49 AM | I had a boyfriend who claimed to LOVE to cook, then he would complain that I hardly ever offered to cook for him! (I HATE cooking and Im terrible at it.) I actually did cook for him and he told me my meatballs were dry... the nerve. Or he would tell me he would cook and I had to wash the dishes...even at my house! He would make a mess of my kitchen, and because he "cooked for me" I would have to clean up the whole mess! Im not talking he would put all the dishes in the sink and I would wash them, I mean there was a MESS around my entire kitchen. I wouldnt mind helping but it being almost REQUIRED that I do it all by myself, just didnt sit well with me. That was my experience anyway.
In any case, yes I love when a guy can cook...cause like I said I am terrible at it.
