Posted: 3/19/2007 10:15:26 PM | I think the first thing that I notice is your poor grammar and spelling. Most of the women I talk with discuss these things as important when reading a guys e-mails or profile.
Try downloading the google tool bar, it has a spell checker on it for text boxes and take the time to re-read your profile, posts and e-mails you respond with.
That may help.
God knows I'm not the best at spelling or grammar myself, but I try hard and use tools to limit my mistakes. | |

I seem to get a fair number of mails from girls who read my profile and then write me a mail saying that they like what they read and they are interested. From the ones I respond too, not one girl ever seems to write back, and I’m wondering why they even bothered to write mean the first place if this is how they wanted to pursue thing

Bored yes, expecting a respond no. The question is rhetorical and points out that the problem is most likely not with the women that aren't responding.

I disagree. I think people waste a lot of other people's time by not being serious about their interactions. We've all read the females' complaints about men viewing their profiles several times, putting them on their favorites lists, and never bothering to write to them. There is this poster on this site who is a model, he is gorgeous, he is nice and someone you'd contact if you wanted a serious relationship with rather than a one nighter. He complains about how everybody comments on how beautiful he is and how girls put him on their favorites list but when he writes them, no response back. I've had similar experiences on the Internet. People with the same interests as mine writing me telling me they want to get to know me better and after one or two nice exchanges no more emails. Yeah it could be beautiful model's fault, it could be my fault, but I don't think it is. I think people just don't have it in them to give any more than the initial, "hey, I think you're cute", or "what a nice profile you have".
I still don't understand why on this forum whenever a woman complains about men in general it's considered gospel, but if a man complains it's whining or there's something wrong with him. It's annoying bs. | |

I'm sure I'm not the only guy that's realized until you pin a girl down and actually get to spend time with them they are all over the place. I was shocked caused this one chick (im not dropping names) was all over me. I was really enticed by her and was anxious to come home and read her responses and one day I came home and there was no response... so I waited a week and then finally re-responded for a second time and no reply.. so I was in a serious wtf is up mode. I send her another message and I'm on her ignore... I didnt use pof for about 6 months. I now know not to take it personal cause women can react off of thing very unpredictably. Had her friend been there she would be fighting to keep me away from her. I have yet to learn the ways of the internet mac. I'm sure it exist, but goddamn he must be a weird overly charismatic guy. | |

Remember sense of humor works, but DON'T be nice or respectful, sorry that doesn't work !!!! EXAMPLE------------If there is a picture and the woman the is nice looking, pretty, comment on that, say ( that picture of yours, you look HOT, you are a little Hottie) but then say, I did notice you didn't include your feet in that picture, why are they huge?
To finish, don't say you look very pretty--- use hot, sexy, TASTY even, be a tad crude, not sure why but they love it !!!! SH | |
