Posted: 9/19/2005 5:34:45 PM | Started off singing.... Still singing... Play six string bass. Dabbled in piano this year.
Started off in church choir when I was youngin. Did some organ playing ..... whoops freudian slip! Then spent a year on drums when I was 13. Realized that I lacked independent limb coordination, so moved onto electric bass outside of school band. In school band played tuba, and baritone... ( Can you say A&W theme).
Mostly self taught.. really bad, it becomes difficult to kill those bad habits.
You know what. Still to this day I like to ROCK !!!!! SHRED!!! Play it loud!! I am going to Rock til I die.... God bless my parents for buying me that Mickey Mouse drum kit....
Whatever instrument you people out there play. Pull those banjo's , guitars, harpischords keep bangin away, sing, scream, whatever........

Posted: 9/23/2005 12:47:05 PM | | Learned piano for 10 years as a teenager, now play it for relaxation, provided that there is a piano within reach (thinks: must get a piano). By extension, I played the harpsichord/organ a bit, and had a crack at chamber music from time to time. Sang in a few school choirs, which was fun, and you can get away with having a completely average voice. | |
