LOL sorry OP didn't mean anything bad by it but in my honest opinion I would rather read something with substance rather than sarcasm. But that's just me ... I'm not too fond of over-the-top sarcasm so my opinion may not matter in your eyes. Anyhow, carry on and best of luck in your pursuit of happiness.

Chicken is finger-licking good! I always lick my fingers, when I eat chicken... I used to be self conscious about what I looked like when I ate, so I used to just nibble... pfft I stopped trying to look pretty... Man, when I'm hungry I just eat... All that money, I'm going to eat like I'm actually hungry! People don't look pretty when they eat a "Big Mac", but for some reason people try to look gorgeous when they pay a lot of money for what they are eating. I just try to enjoy my food now... Take her out to a Mom & Pap's diner or restaurant, and just throw down with her... I bet you will start to have fun, when you are actually enjoying your food the way she was! The itch could be many different reasons. I'm not going to speculate, just ask her about it... I wouldn't just give up on her... I would give up on her if she ordered the most expensive dish and just picked at it the whole time though!

How can you guys judge her how she eat the chicken. I can say 95% of people dont know how to hold the fork when they eat steak. Some of you say she doesnt know how to eat chicken i am sure all those people who judge her dont know how to hold the fork when they eat steak. Next time when you go to steak house heck the people how they eat their steak then remember how you used to eat. I have nothing to say about her scratching.

I would have come right out and asked what the heck is the problem?
If this lady can read, then I hope she would not go out with you. You trying her again? hum? Are you nuts, is she nuts? You just broadcasted all over the world her itch/lick fingers session.
I wouldn't give someone like that (her) a second shot, no matter the excuse for scratching, but if you enjoy this time with her, then eventually at some point food will return in a future date.
Move on from here and never talk about real or actual dates on POF, you will get caught. Glad it's you and not me.............. LMAO sorry

maybe she wasn't that into you. so, she decided to gross you out to be sure you'd never call again

or

you picked up a stray....however you should have figured that out before the dinner date.

It was pointed out to me(rightfully so) that my last profile althought only an attempt at humour might be looked at as me making fun of the less fortunate, this was never my intention i would never for a second think of doing such a thing. Naturally i have now changed my profile, hopefully this is a better reflection of me.

I second that - it's very good, isn't it. And how great is it that it now fits with the real person behind it...

tdh I thought your last profile showed a lot of humor and originality. Pity you changed it. Just remeber that you can't please all the people all the time.
The itch was likely a nervous reaction. as evidenced by when you said that she had a relaxed close eyed appearnce on her face during the scracthing.
Have fun on your next date and heres hoping that it turns out well for you.

Thanks drg1301 most people got the idea behind the profile, but if one person was truly offended by it, then it was one too many for me.

Back on topic....

I have been speaking with the lady all week, and i was planning on going out with her again actually. The scratching she said was because of a fabric she was wearing, that's logical and easily solved. I never did bring up the licking of the fingers, I don't think bad manners can be as easily explained away.

all i can say is "LOL." just think of it as a little added flavor to your food (all those dead skin cells flying into the chicken as she scratched!)

Ah, that's cool that you're talking

I feel bad for her now - she must've been uncomfortable wearing something that made her itch, poor woman

I think I have the answer to this now. She was probably allergic to you.

I sometimes break out in a cold sweat if a certain former girlfriend is anywhere nearby.

I have a perfect match for her.

We call him 'Caveman' or 'Savage' - some now call him 'Dead Man' - those are the people that can't bear to be in the same county with him anymore ( which includes me ).

He does the finger sucking thing after every BITE. It's like a ritual.

They would make a great pair. I can see it know. When they fall in love they can do each other's fingers at the restaurant.

He would BBQ and lick the basting brush as he used it on the chicken!!!
No takers for any offered food!!

The poor girl..I just feel sorry for her for she didn’t have the chance to explain herself why she scratched “like a dog with fleas” first before you told the world how “classless” she is.

Maybe you are right, OP.. She is without class, for why would she order nothing but chicken in a four class restaurant? What kind of chicken was it that if eaten needs to be licked with all the ten fingers ?

Maybe you are right again, OP. She is without class, for why would she go out to date you for the second time after you gave her a lame excuse of going home early on your first date?

If she is off POF why do you have to run fast home to change your profile in POF to forums only?

...and look at the dates you posted your “ licking ten fingers story and scratching like a dog with fleas first date” up to the time of the second date..It didn’t match your whole story. I don’t want to go into details here.

I take it the post was just a joke?
