If its just a causal thing then dress casual and maybe put a little more though in how you look than normal casual if you get what I meen. If its to a play art gallery opera I dress up and present a classy apperance and I would expect my date to follow suit. | |

If it is a first "date", then I suppose whatever is appropriate for the date/place/activity. Don't over dress, don't under dress.
I might add a little twist. Leave something to the imagination. Let the theater of the mind work its magic. A little cleavage or leg is great, but I'm an old geezer, so I like talking to a woman's face, not her breasts. At least in public.
I wonder what the flip side of this is? That is "What does a woman want a man to wear?" | |

Posted: 8/7/2007 1:12:25 AM | A lady should wear something that shows who she is! Clothing says ALLOT about who you are and first impressions will make or break. (you can choose to be affectionate, but you can't choose to be attracted)
The answer is, dress as you are. If you put up a fake image, all that is going to do is leave your dates image of you in the wrong light.
If your artsy, dress artsy
If your fashionable wip out the D&G.

Wear lots of layers... if things progress as the night goes on and your interest picks up, peel off the first layer... then the second... until you're down to your winning CFM attire. I prefer a first date to be casual, with lots of fun stuff going on (ie bowling, amusement park, ect..)
If the first date is casual, you can't go wrong with a awesome pair of jeans, a semi-lowcut shirt that's kind of flirty, and a nice pair of shoes, preferably heels. You should wear your hair down and make sure it smells nice and is soft...let it hang loose.
The most important thing to remember is to be yourself...don't be nervous!

With the hot weather things might be a bit uncomfortable to accentuate your female charms, but it will pay dividends!
