| Is Height an issue to Men? Posted: 10/3/2008 9:12:25 PM | | There is looking down and looking down. If a woman has to tilt her head forward to see me I don't mind as long as whe doesn't "look down" on me. | |

| Is Height an issue to Men? Posted: 10/5/2008 10:01:51 AM | ^^^^ Hi Bill, it's been awhile
Well, I suppose I should clear something up. Because of a couple e-mails I received, it seems my comments earlier lead some people to believe that I think short women are hot and tall women are not. This is why I think I stay off this, things get read into this so easily. The thread is "Is height an issue with men?" I was simply saying the reason why I believe there is one reason why it could be. with some men, and the rest of my statement was explaining why there shouldn't be. Now if the thread was "What is your preference in the height of women?" thats a different story.
All I'm saying is that lets..."And I know someone will have something cleaver to say about my analogy" but lets take a dozen donuts, all kinds, chocolate, glaze, fruit filed. One day you might pull out a chocolate, the next day a glaze. Why? Because one looks fresher? or hotter? or tastier then the other? Could be. Or is it because of your preference? or have you over dosed on chocolate lately? There is a lot of variables. Some times we get lazy and don't want to be creative or adventurous and try something new or different. We get in ruts and only go with those that we know we like.
Most of the time, it's that we know we don't like something, I never pull out a donut with all the speckles (or what ever they're called) all over them. Not into that. But thats not to say that maybe one day, one might just jump out at me and I will have to take a bite.
So, "Is height an issue with men?........ My answer is... Guys like donuts!
|
| Is Height an issue to Men? Posted: 10/5/2008 11:45:51 AM | ^^Nice save, Jack.
But speaking as a speckled donut myself (aka freckled) I do have to warn you that indeed we tend to bite... so keep your distance.
|
| Is Height an issue to Men? Posted: 10/5/2008 1:40:16 PM | ^^^ I like speckled donuts... and biting...
While I think every donut is special... some guys who are of the opinion that "Guys like donuts" tend to only appreciate donuts for what they ALL have in common... the HOLE.

| Is Height an issue to Men? Posted: 10/5/2008 4:25:46 PM | ^^^^ Well actually the thing that is the most common is the sweet taste. The tastes vary.... but are all sweet. And the last I looked... There isn't always a hole.
Now, we are talking donuts right?

There isn't always a hole.
Well, yes... there always is... not that I should have to teach YOU about donuts. It is true some donuts don't display their hole as prominently as others... you have to work to get to it. It's worth the effort, however, because it can be the source of tremendous taste sensation, as well as a good place for injecting your filling.
Now, we are talking donuts right?
Well yes, of course. With regard to height being an issue to men (the topic) I think there's nothing quite like an eclair...
|
| Is Height an issue to Men? Posted: 10/5/2008 5:18:59 PM | ^^^ there's nothing quite like an eclair?
So, wait? then you do like donuts without holes?

Personally, I find it's the MEN who had the issues with me being taller.
Their loss. | |

Was it you being "taller", or the fact that you made them crawl...
Their loss.
From what I've seen, I'd have to agree.

But it just seems masculine to me when they are over 5'7".
And this is why I have a problem finding tall guys to date! Is it any wonder I married guys that were 5'8" and 5'9"?
It would probably feel pretty unusual to look up at "my guy"!
|
| Is Height an issue to Men? Posted: 10/7/2008 12:12:07 PM | A Japanese Prince will not marry a woman taller than himself. The whole Royal family is getting shorter, and shorter...
My twin 23 y.o. "boys" are 6'3" blue-eyed hunks, I did my part ladies.

|
| Is Height an issue to Men? Posted: 10/7/2008 12:23:38 PM | ^^^ Hey, I did my part too... My 20 year old is 6'-1" and my 17 year may just pass him.
Not bad for a 5'-9" Dad... (although, come to think of it... the UPS guy was really tall )
|
| Is Height an issue to Men? Posted: 10/7/2008 12:23:45 PM | My mom is 5'4"
