| Tall Order Posted: 3/23/2007 8:38:27 PM | I can change the pitch of my voice. I took voice over classes in Santa Monica one semester- along with a photography class... The best impression I do is Jack Nicholson...I have this whole bit. MY southern redneck is good, as well as southern black man (with southern accent)-fun. | |

| Tall Order Posted: 3/24/2007 3:31:58 PM | I perfer that they are shorter but im 6'2" so there aren't too many that are much taller. But I also think it goes to the protecting thing. That is why i think girls like taller guys is because they feel more safe and guys like shorter girls because they feel like they have to protect them....at least thats my opinion. | |

| Tall Order Posted: 3/31/2007 6:20:46 AM | Don't really care about size. Last long-term relationship was a bit taller than me. Last date was a bit shorter than me. It does not matter to me. My 2 cents. | |

| Is Height an issue to Men? Posted: 3/31/2007 9:53:02 AM | Everything on this planet is an issue, however that issue may or may not be problematic. Guys don't have to care if a girl is taller or shorter we have friends that remind us of the "status quo. " A 6 feet tall girl isn't all that common unless your on some movie set or in some Super Models bedroom.
“There’s still a widespread perception that male success is measured in stature,” Now take that and reverse it everyone wants to be taken seriously. "When it comes to romance, height is often a deal-breaker." However I think this is more of an issue for women than men.
A lot of men short in statue date taller women maybe thats there level of success I don't know. "It's nothing wrong with being breast level." sounds like heaven. I am 6'1 1/2in help me find a girl taller and I'll report back.
Wow that was awkward

| Is Height an issue to Men? Posted: 6/28/2007 11:36:41 AM | | I prefer taller, 5'8" or more if I can find them. I'm 6'3" and some things just nicer when I can comfortably look into a woman's eyes. Large differences in height are just awkward. | |

| Is Height an issue to Men? Posted: 6/29/2007 9:15:49 AM | At 5'8" it really is an issue for me. Heels? Flats? I'm just not comfortable being taller than my date. I love walking with a man whose arm fits perfectly over my shoulder. I love having to stand up on my toes a little to kiss him. Like somebody said earlier, it's that feeling of being protected, even surrounded by someone bigger. That said, it's not a deal-breaker. Funny, though. I just had a date with a guy that was 6'1". I called him because I didn't remember how tall he was and I had to decide which shoes to wear. When he told me, I said great, then I can wear heels, and he said "as long as you take them off when I kiss you". So I guess height really can be an issue to men, even the tall ones. | |

Not only can I bake great cookies, but I've dated a Jolly Green Giant (6'11) & a lil Napoleon Sprout (5'6). Who said just blondes have more fun??? WHERE MY SHORTIES AT!

| Is Height an issue to Men? Posted: 7/24/2007 1:36:32 PM | | I've had men tell me "You are short, aren't you?," or"I forgot how short you were." II wasn't sure how to take that. | |

| Is Height an issue to Men? Posted: 7/24/2007 8:16:33 PM | I spose it is psychological, when she is 4 inches taller than you, or a foot shorter! If you are from a circus ...then go for it! | |

| Is Height an issue to Men? Posted: 7/24/2007 9:31:00 PM | I am more readily attracted to women under 5 foot 4, but I am definently not opposed to women my height or taller. Than again, its fairly rare to meet women over 6 feet tall.
Its really a non-issue.

| Is Height an issue to Men? Posted: 7/24/2007 9:35:44 PM | | women 6.' tall excite me and I begin to release chemicals and then, again ... I must say the petite ones are so much fun as wel... One once asked me to go to a spinning class with her...I got so excited, and I think she did to because next thing I knew I was at her gym...my thought was maybe she wanted to get warmed up before hand. She was quite a spinner. | |

| Is Height an issue to Men? Posted: 7/25/2007 12:20:36 AM | I insist that all my dates be under 7 feet tall.
I really don't like platforms that much.
But I will take along a step ladder.

| Is Height an issue to Men? Posted: 7/25/2007 8:56:43 AM | I love having a tall woman on my arm, but I also love feeling monstrous to a smaller woman. I'm usually a confident guy, and see nothing wrong with standing on my tiptoes to kiss my date... | |

| Is Height an issue to Men? Posted: 7/25/2007 4:07:20 PM | I have been on this site for a little while now, and just recently looked around enough to find these postings. I'm getting a kick out of this one, Not because it's funny, but because I suppose I can't relate. So, I thought I would post my first post.
I'm 6'4" and have to admit, I have never gone out with anyone taller. I do hear that it is an issue with women sometimes..... Guys lie about their height, girls lie about there age. actually, thats not fair.. I think both men and women lie about both, and many other things. But getting back on track. I think we all come in all sizes, we think we know what we want, and we have big expectations , and than we get thrown under the bus.
If we lighten up on this whole first date thing.... No expectations... just fun. Maybe the guy shorter than you, or the girl older than you, or the one really heavy guy with no teeth and a hunched back...will grow on you! OK, maybe not that last one.... We are very visual creatures.
