| Baldness - Fix it or leave it? Posted: 3/11/2007 7:46:37 AM | I dated a man who had plugs, not a good look. I am also not a fan of the comb over, just let it die with dignity.
Now with that being said, some of the sexiest men I have dated have been bald or going bald, it was a non issue for me. Also, the scalp is a very erogenous zone for most men, so the next time you are kissing or doing something else with a bald man, rub his scalp. You will be amazed at the result not to mention very pleased.

plus I've been with lots of girls who love to stroke bald heads, and I'll be honest it feels kinda good

| Baldness - Fix it or leave it? Posted: 3/12/2007 6:07:36 PM | | I was one of the ones who freaked and payed big bucks for a hair transplant. It worked and all was fine for about 2 years......Then I started riding a motorcycle and working out....I got tired of screwing with my hair and having to wear a hat when I got off the bike.....Now I am clean shaven and loving it. Of course I also have a scar on the back of my head from the transplant so guys, I would think long and hard before going that route. If I had it to do all over again, I wouldn't. Let Nature take it's course. | |

| Baldness - Fix it or leave it? Posted: 3/12/2007 7:11:52 PM | Great post.
I'm 33 and i just got back from watching "300" (such a badass movie) well i stopped at the gas station and got a drink, there i saw the back of my head on the little TV at the register. Well, there with my brown hair was a large bald spot, now i knew i had thinning hair but sheese, i came home tonight and buzzed it with bare blades.
No longer do i have to hide my bald spot and be ashamed of it, now i'm 99.999% bald, all i gota do now is adjust to it. Seriously, shave it and tell anyone who don't like it to piss off.
me before the shave http://s32.photobucket.com/albums/d43/Xentec6/?action=view¤t=DSCF1871.jpg trust me, DON'T worry about the shape of your head, even i wasnt any uglier after i shaved, and my head is shaped great. Every guy can pull off a shaved head.

I know baldness can seem creepy on the spot.
Damn. I guess that explains why I hate mirrors so much.
I'd rarely consider dating a bald girl.
I know one I certainly wouldn't date. But it isn't the lack of hair that'd stop me.
I should've gotten the transplant?
Don't be silly. Other than that sunburn problem losing your hair isn't a big deal. I just wish I could get a discount when I get what's left cut.
Keep in mind I'm not looking to get laid. That's stupid easy.
Then why all the worry? | |

I got tired of screwing with my hair and having to wear a hat when I got off the bike Im never going to look at a man in the same way again if he's wearing a hat after removing his helmut

| Baldness - Fix it or leave it? Posted: 3/13/2007 9:31:45 AM | easiest way i have found to fix baldness is to continue shaving while its happening to you :-) Been bald now over 18 years and only in the last 3 realised the front of the top of my head is not offering as much resistance to the blades as they once did ;-)
Yes thats right folks, my forehead is expanding, maybe it had something to do with the brain tumour who knows! Bonus!! IF you are bald and do have to suregery for a brain tumour like i did, you dont have to endure them using 10cent disposables on you!! Every other guy for surgery had cuts all over their head that day in the ward...except me :-) smooth shiny shaved, uncut scalp!
Just a thought on medical grounds alone Mick the magnificient (shy but bald and beautiful)

| Baldness - Fix it or leave it? Posted: 3/13/2007 9:46:15 AM | | I had a buzz cut as a first grader. I just can't. Kudos to you guys that make the scene. I'll get a better hair cut and loose the phantom strands but that's as far as I can go. :) | |

| Baldness - Fix it or leave it? Posted: 3/13/2007 10:48:07 AM | Dude, you lack confidence and one can't just decide to be confident, it's something you learn by going OUT of your comfort zone. Those things that take our confidence away are truths to us regardless if others see these so called truths the same as you.
It's perception, and you see yourself badly so you hang onto your hair like a child hangs onto a teddy bear or a blanket, it makes you feel secure.
The cure for baldness is simple, grow some balls and shave.
Yes i shaved the other day and i get stared at, but my dress style is t-shirt boot cut levis and combat boots, or like right now camo cargo type pants t-shirt and a dark blue work shirt lol.
stop hiding man. | |

| Baldness - Fix it or leave it? Posted: 3/13/2007 10:48:28 AM | I feel sorry for guys who can't grow a head of hair... it's in my genes, we don't lose it. All my mates have little to no hair. I honestly think it embarrasses them sometimes. Should I get bald to make them feel better? Would it make me look younger or older?
What's a guy to do? LOL! | |

We don't need your pity.
All my mates have little to no hair.
Ah, that explains your jealous attempt to put bald guys down.
I honestly think it embarrasses them sometimes.
I honestly think you are wrong.
Should I get bald to make them feel better?[/quote Sure. That wig looks silly anyway.

| Baldness - Fix it or leave it? Posted: 3/13/2007 11:33:50 AM | if your questioning your looks then its time to do something about it before you can't .... some guys look better with shaved heads, some with hair, im sorry balding isnt really sexy but if you have a super personality its not really going to matter... wearing a hat probably only makes it worse my uncle, his son and my grampa all went bald at an eary age i think cuse they always wore hats especially outside, the sun can be good for you hair..... but then again maybe that was to cover up the baldness? thinkening shampoo works wonders for me......

| Baldness - Fix it or leave it? Posted: 3/13/2007 12:24:56 PM | Shave it! Bald is goooooooooooooood. Dangerous for me, but good. Don't try to hide it, don't try to fix it. Just get rid of it if it is that close and enjoy the fact that women will love it more.
shut up c-note. | |

That wasn't really a girl.
bad news for baldies...
Oh, yeah. I'm going to my room and cry for hours now.
btw does my head look big in this?
It sure does. Maybe a smaller wig would be more stylish.

| Baldness - Fix it or leave it? Posted: 3/13/2007 12:58:52 PM | OP: That was the most intelligent sounding POF thread I have ever read. :) Addenum? What the **** is that?
Anyways, a shaved head demands respect. People get out of your way when walking in public and you don't have to apologize when you step on someone's foot, they'll say it for you.
Shaving the bean was one of the best things I ever did.
Down with the mullet...nows the time to skull-it I made that up :)

| Baldness - Fix it or leave it? Posted: 3/13/2007 1:00:09 PM | | Skypoetone...dude! If you want to start an "I love my luxuriously long hair" thread, go for it! Why are you gloating about it on a thread full of proud shaven/bald guys and the women who love them? I mean, if you get in a fight with them, they're at an advantage -- you can't pull their hair. | |
