| do men actually like curvy women vs the skinny pencil one? Posted: 12/13/2008 8:22:29 AM | | Call me traditional, call me old fashioned, call me a typical male, (just call me!!) but Curves do it for me every time! As long as it is somewhat proportionate, I am in. Love a woman with an a$$, and a come hither look..... | |

| do men actually like curvy women vs the skinny pencil one? Posted: 12/13/2008 2:52:10 PM | Where to begin on this one? I think men prefer curves versus BBW. I was a BBW and did have a few looks but since dropping most of the excess weight I find I definately get more looks now.
Having said all that, I am nowhere near "skinny". Definately curvy, still have about 20lbs to lose.
Also, sexy really is an attitude.

| do men actually like curvy women vs the skinny pencil one? Posted: 3/18/2009 11:18:53 PM | | Pencil thin women went out in the "60's" with Twiggy. Curvy woman or woman who seem happy in their skin are sexy. Come on ladies ....if your over 40 and have had kids you don't want to look like a hard bodied 23 year old...it just doesn't work and it won't happen unless you have 7 days a week to visit the gym. The sexiest woman are the woman that are happy in their body and mind and it shows in their eyes and smile. And if you look closely .....it is most often woman over 40. Now thats sexy! | |

| do men actually like curvy women vs the skinny pencil one? Posted: 7/26/2009 12:29:37 PM | | it matters what the personality behind the curvy/thin woman is. Some types of personality are better for one type of person while other types of personality are better for the other type. Is there such a thing as a curvy and thin woman? I think that's what I prefer. | |

Some types of personality are better for one type of person while other types of personality are better for the other type. Fascinating! Care to elaborate, Fluffy? MN

| do men actually like curvy women vs the skinny pencil one? Posted: 7/26/2009 1:51:32 PM | I mean some types of body types people are more appealing to me if they are more outgoing while other body types people are more appealing to me if they are a little shy etc.... For instance: I don't find an attractive woman who is severely outgoing as attractive, I prefer a more laid back shy type of girl. Normal women I find attractive if they are either kind of shy or maybe a little outgoing. Not too outgoing though.
And I guess you could say I have an attraction to both curvy and pencilly women. Not super bone thin though.

| do men actually like curvy women vs the skinny pencil one? Posted: 7/26/2009 2:52:25 PM | My favorite thread is back!
Let's give it another whirl around.
I agree pencil thin does not mean anorexic. BTW, to be honest, I think some of those Hollywood starlets look good skeletal. Although, they do have a lot of make-up on to make them look healthy and the make-up looks somewhat natural under Hollywood's bright lights.

| do men actually like curvy women vs the skinny pencil one? Posted: 7/26/2009 6:40:47 PM | ^I think it is absolutely okay. Your tastes are your tastes. I am not sure why but it is almost like you are meant to answer this thread by saying curvy women.
Women have weight preferences, too. I prefer men who are on the lean and muscular side.
I am not sure if we choose are preferences. It seems to have more with conditioning and the experiences we have had with people.
I think men should have as much pressure on them as women to keep their figures nice but it does not seem to be that way.
Hey, whoever brought this thread back, thanks! Looks like Jane had something to say about this topic after all.

| do men actually like curvy women vs the skinny pencil one? Posted: 7/26/2009 7:51:10 PM | Sounds like something Kitty would say. Yup, I thought the topic was beaten to death, too. I assume this is what the above poster is suggesting.
I would like to see someone create a thread about men`s body types. It seems that this horse has not been beaten at all and to my knowledge only come up in the spandex thread.

| do men actually like curvy women vs the skinny pencil one? Posted: 7/27/2009 6:18:04 PM | Curves are all good!! but it has to be proportionate I've seen girls with BIG chests whose butt is as flat as a board. That just doesn't look right, and isn't the least bit appealing to me!! I've got nothing against small chested girls, it's just that I have a preference towards curvy/voluptuous women!! Someone who is HEALTHY. There are two extremes that I see a lot of. Either pencil thin super-model, or obesity. I am not physically attracted to either, but I like a healthy medium! Someone who is proud of who they are, and is able to go outside and do physical activities. Biking/Hiking.... I've known girls with eating disorders like bulemia, and they have no energy to do anything more active than walking around the mall. | |
