Why don't we start a thread called "Do men actually like fat women vs the slender or fit one?" Because then I would, and probably will be attacked for it because "how dare I refer to them as fat, I must be so shallow and heartless and arrogant" It's true - don't deny it! Thanks for the opportunity to stir the pot, so very rarely one arises.

We all have a preference to this or that physical attribute in the other sex but at the end it's all about how well we mingle together that matters. The other may be curvy/chunky or may be slim, as long as she or he makes us happy, we will look beyond these distinctive traits.

The eyes and the lips attached to the face be pretty nice too. Like sands through the hourglass.......Life don't start to age 30. Stir the pot,us? Children must play, just play nice,ok?Nothing wrong with a little jiggling . A friendly,curvy,snuggly-cuddly huggy-kissy Gal does it for me.

| do men actually like curvy women vs the skinny pencil one? Posted: 3/12/2007 6:03:25 PM | Ok...just my 2 cents....but here goes!!.... Even though my first comment earlier was in fun...
.... It has been my experience...having fluctuated in my weight for many years now... that people that tend to get offended very easily by others' comments usually are the ones that are not comfotable in their own skin!! I have been there...not comfortable in my own skin...and previously would have taken great offence to someone making a comment...that I intepreted as a negative comment!!! I now am able to reflect back on my life and even pictures and remember how I felt about myself at the time that picture was taken...and so many times... I wasn't happy with who I was on the inside, therefore effecting how I felt about myself on the outside!!
And then hopefully for each person...they reach a point in their lives where they truly are comfortable in their own skin, love themselves for who they are and radiate beauty no matter the size or label they will receive in today's society!! Lets face it...body image is a huge problem in the media and today's society... look at how many young girls think they are fat, when they are not! If we focussed on how beautiful we are inside then we can truly find happiness and obtain our goals in life...be it physical, metaphysical, spiritual, emotional or physcological!!
.......end of my short 2 cents!

I like tall thin women, I just do. but if they are all gangly and awkward = not so sexy. The opposite is true, a full figured girl with grace and confidence can be very sexy too.

Posted: 3/13/2007 9:52:23 AM | its amazing how all this went from a simple question to name calling and how it is a negative view, which i can understand to a certain degree.. tho one body type is socially more accepted than the other, then it turned into age bashing, people asking if others "drink much' and just generalized child like behaviour. Your all grown ups with opinions that may be valid in your point of view but just GROW UP! no need for name calling bashing any other bull crap... where is the morals now a days??????? where is the respect, integrity and good will in mankind? how can a simplistic question get so perversed by people? Does that not seem childish and belittling to manipulate questions and answers to others own means just to create controversy? why not take what is said at face value and leave it at that? if we are all to create assumption or manipulate wording imagine how bad the state of the world would be!

Don't assume, just comment and listen to comments and maybe learn something. Might be easier to do that here than in person and who knows might just get someone's attention to boot. Nothing wrong with conflict as long as it serves a purpose and be resolvable. Options must always be considered so judgement be the best and commendable. See the light at the end of any tunnel.

A "real" woman exhibits: character, confidence, communication skilss, & CONSCIENCE; among other traits. The "pencil-thin" waif image is NOT attractive. More woman who possess the aforementioned "hvy hngrs" usually hav NO butt! Yuk! A meatier (not fat) woman with "bodacious ta-ta's" is more rae & thus more desirable to "most" men. She has the whole package--think of Jessica Biel in the movie 'Stealth'; more precisely, the scene in which, she is in the blue bikini at the waterfall!!!!!!!!!! Wuddda butt!!!! Oh sorry (panting, sweating). She is thinner in that scene than many women, yet she has the curves, & if she were heavier, would very likely retain her shape & nice proportions. Many women who are considered overweight hav the same figure (within) that Jessica has (in MY mind) & would be just as "hot" if they were to slim down a little. However, if they like, or (more-over) are "comfortable" in their package, then, that is what matters. This is what "I" see as I view women passing by. Some women just do not "see" this in themselves tho, for some unknown reason. A soft, firm, & round "girly-girl" with a bouncy butt (' ') is the sexiest body type & personality combination in existence!!!!!!! (' ') Nice boobs are merely "icing on the cake" of Joy (whoever she is).

p.s. Hey! Where's the little, "We're not worthy" icon??? Rats!!! I jus luv dees liddle 'tings.

A woman should not be ashamed of her belly if she had kids. It can be sexy .

| do men actually like curvy women vs the skinny pencil one? Posted: 3/13/2007 6:00:45 PM | How about... I think most men prefer a healthy looking woman. If that means a healthy girl is smaller or larger.... so be it. And after reading all the posts, I agree with anyone who thinks that what is beautiful about a woman, is how she feels about herself. It shows when a woman feels confident about her appearance. Parents need to start teaching their children about being healthy, instead of how to diet, or how to order fast food.
As for myself, I'm short and curvy (yep. I have a belly.) It took me 25 years to accept that fact. I'm not going to look any different. I mean, I could, if I were willing to starve myself, or turn into a gym fiend on a permanent basis. But I'm not willing to make the sacrifices necessary to be thin. Cause when I stop dieting or training 3 hours a day, 6 days a week... guess what I look the same as I do now. And I like food. *shrugs* I like my boobs. And my hips. And everything else too. And mainly, I think the only person whose opinion REALLY counts with me, is mine.

| do men actually like curvy women vs the skinny pencil one? Posted: 3/13/2007 9:34:03 PM | At one time I was pencil thin and never got the guy. Had kids and got real curvy and couldn't get the guys attention then either. Now that I am in between, I am getting the attention, but not the attention I want.
WTF is wrong here....lol

| do men actually like curvy women vs the skinny pencil one? Posted: 3/13/2007 10:50:49 PM | | ^^^ in my opinion...as I stated in my earlier post...it is about how a woman feels about them selves... If you are confident....and love being who you are...in your own skin.... whatever the size.... you will attract men!! | |
