| What's the best advice you ever got? Posted: 3/12/2007 7:02:42 AM | Don't pee into the wind
I once opened a fortune cookie and it read "you would make a good lawyer".... I'm still marvelling over that one....
By far the best I've been given is a good friend of many years said to me when I was down: "The severity of most personal pain has no relation to the incident. You're allowed to be hurt by the little things. Anyone who says differently doesn't know or love you."

more best advice: When someone tells you who they are, e.g. I'm such a jerk. Believe them. Don't waste your time waiting for them to prove it over and over again.
Have a great week, everyone.

"Whatever you do, don't f*** this up!" - my classmate at college when we were doing a group presentation, and I had made a video that I had to load onto a projection screen.

Now, you can take the 'they need her to be happy' in two ways. (1)She needs to be happy. (2)Their happiness depends on her.
I have to keep myself happy in order to have happy children. I guess that's why I'm so darn picky about who I date, lol.

OK how come every thread these days seems to include a "panty" reference???
And off subject....Have you seen Kenny Rogers lately....Man I saw him on TV awhile ago and if he had not spoken I would not have known it was him......talk about "having a little work done"

It's my best friend's answer to everything...and made a promise year's ago that if she "goes" first, I will make sure it's on her tombstone....try explaining that to her husband/family.

Posted: 3/24/2007 5:00:17 PM | 4 things from my father, one I learned from watching his mistakes the other three were favorites of his while ranting lol...needless to sya my father was no great philosopher...but these translate pretty well into other situations and have stuck with me.
1) Don't sh1t where you eat (more commonly known as don't stick the pen in the company ink) 2) Don't hunt what you can't kill 3) Don't let your mouth write checks your butt ain't prepared to cash. 4) Never start a fight...but make sure you finish it even if you're getting your ass kicked.
