| Men that expect to much and only look for look's Posted: 5/1/2008 4:19:10 AM | tony, seriously men do not appreciate a woman who says she's a size 10, then go meet her for dinner and she's my size 22. some men prefer to date the skinny ladys, and for that us curvy ones cannot fault them. it is all about preferences. the men i've dated loved all the dangerous curves i have!!!!! LOL. whether people state it or not, we all have a preference of who attracts us. for instance, i prefer to stay away from liars! hehehehhehehhh

| Men that expect to much and only look for look's Posted: 5/1/2008 6:13:49 AM | Some of you may have seen this at one point or another, being passed on from email to email amongst friends, family, whoever else. When i read it, it made me think of this topic here, and it really made me think.
The Blind Girl
There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind.
She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She told her boyfriend, If I could only see the world... I would marry you.
One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came off, she was able to see everything, including her boyfriend. He asked her, Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?
The girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind. The sight of his closed eyelids shocked her She hadn't expected that. The thought of looking at them the rest of her life led her to refuse to marry him.
Her boyfriend left her in tears and days later wrote a note to her saying: Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for before they were yours, they were mine.
This is how the human brain often works when our status changes.
Only a very few remember what life was like before, and who was always by their side in the most painful situations.

| Men that expect to much and only look for look's Posted: 5/1/2008 6:46:41 AM | Yup,,it certainly does make you think! What if it was normal that we were all blind? Id bet 90% of the people on here (and elsewhere) would be married to a the man/woman of their dreams! I know that ive been guilty of this in the past (passing up awesome men because i wasnt physically attracted to them), but if we were all blind, we'd naturally go with whomever we were compatable with and got along really well with! The person who made us laugh, smile, was kind, thoughtful, affectionate, and all the other qualities we want in a mate!
Ok,,,that was my thought provoking moment of the day. Carry on! haha

and besides being a nurse, doesn't that like make you think about smoking as a bad thing
Guess I am gonna get it now!

| Men that expect to much and only look for look's Posted: 5/1/2008 8:24:02 AM | | I don’t know how many men do this but I have noticed quite a few women who’s profiles basically state they want to find their soul mate and that looks aren’t important to them. Then they have their restrictions set so you need to have a picture to contact them. This seems rather hypocritical to me. Its like a married person saying they are honest and loving wanting the same thing from a person on here. Some things just don’t make sense to me, perhaps I just think too much. | |

Joanne you have no idea how long it has been since I was the reason a woman had a restless night.............Its worth not getting paid just so it continues!!!!
Robin I went back and looked at all those private pictures you sent me again. I must admit that I did notice your eyes when I first got them but lets face it, they weren't really the main thing you intended for me to see. Not to mention that the lens was focused lower than your eyes!!!!!!!!
