As a member of 'THE CAT IN THE HAT CLUB', I would like to thank Poetica for her insistence on peace and harmony. It is the only way to facilitate any social gathering.
For those that would like to attend for reasons other than to engage in social intercourse and harmonious interaction, you will find that your efforts in this regard will be greatly frustrated.
It is always so much easier to try to get along. There is no reason for conflict.
Please also look for the 'CAT IN THE HAT CLUB' and join freely. There are no restrictions for membership. Pass the information onto your friends and acquaintances. The more members we are able to draw upon, the more members we will have to combat abusive behaviour by those that will try to ruin the ongoing discussions and parties.
It will work like this:
You join and are a member of a Peace Keeping force of socially conscious people who believe in harmonious and respectful interaction.
It is a social contract and is enforceable by polite insistence on respect and coexistence between all members of POF and others we invite to join us in discussions and our parties. It tells the potential trouble makers that the group will not tolerate any attacks against anyone, for what ever reason.
How it works:
If someone is abusive or demeaning to anyone else, whether they be a member or not, the rest of the group will simply mail the culprit individually, the simple message:
"WHITE FLAG!! Please be nice!!
I am certain that this method of enforcing peace will work. Let us imagine what would happen if a culprit was to receive, as an example, 300 e-mails from 300 different people all saying the same thing:
"WHITE FLAG!! Please be nice!!

Thank you for being in. I am happy that you have come to that decision. I am looking forward to seeing you there. There will be a lot of people present who feel the same way and we will have a great time as usual.
The film is top rated and the HUGE screen will make it more momentous.

Does anyone here realize Boccaccino means "Little mouth"...?? Funny name for a resto isnt it???
Actually, it translates as "little bite", like to take a small taste of a bite-sized morsel...
... which is naturally a complete misnomer given the size of the portions at that place!
