Posted: 3/21/2007 7:24:12 AM | All joking aside, it is important for the organizers of any event to have an accurate
count of the people attending, especially when reservations are needed.
Thats why it is always important to sign up and let the organizers know so they can maintain an accurate count.
If anyone is not able to make it due to a change in plans, please make sure to notify
poetica and adjust your signup accordingly. If you are going to be late, please notify
poetica as well. We are usually polite and wait for most people to arrive before ordering,
but we do have to finish eating before the movie.
And most importantly, remember, there will be other dinners and movie nights in the future. | |

I am *super* psyched about our dinner & movie tonight!
I called the resto today to confirm & just wanted to pass on
the basic info to everyone again!
We will be there for 6 PM...we will be the big group of 30 people
upstairs on the 2nd floor!
The reservation is under "PLENTYOFFISH"...
so be sure to ask for us when you get there!
I can't wait!!!

I think that we are so lucky to have so many POF events organized by people like you "POETICA" and "LAUREN33" I read the threads and see so many members posting threads begging for someone to organize a get together in their city. To top it off, the members I have met that attended are all so wonderful. 
Wowwwwwwww. I can't wait for the next event!
Just can't wait.

It does do my heart good to hear that you had fun!
I had a great time myself and met so many wonderful ppl!
I also enjoyed introducing the feeeeshies to each other...
I remember what it was like to be a new feeeshie myself once and
how hard it can be to feel like a "fish out of water"....sorry, couldn't resist the pun!
I dedicate that pun to my friend EO, Punmeister Extra-ordinaire...lol

Lauren, you're right on the money there when you say that's what makes organizing POF events so worthwhile....it's so nice to receive the encouragement from our fellow feeeeeshies!
A BIG THANK YOU to all the feeeeshies who joined us for the dinner & the movie...
I'm sorry that some feeeshies didn't get into see the movie...
but it was quite the hot ticket movie and was sold-out as I thought it would be....
