Posted: 3/26/2007 7:50:34 AM | Damn - another meet on 5th May that I'm not able to make. It seems to be the most popular night of the calendar. At least I'm not put in the position of having choose. It'll just me posting crap on the forums, as usual, whilst the rest of the country are out partying.
Which, to be honest I think is a great thing. Whilst there may be some people able to travel the length and breadth of the country, for most of us it's not that easy. And to have the choice of 3 venues, all about 200 miles or so away from each other, all having meets on the same night is good. It's what it's all about. Get off the computer and go meet real people.
I'm sure you'll all have a great time. At the moment I've only ever been to one meet, but everybody who goes to them always seems to have a whale of a time.
And Jack - play Happy New Year by Abba for me - dedicate it to me, in my absence. It won't make sense, playing it in the middle of the year, but then nothing about me makes sense.
Have a fantabulous time. I've done a birmingham meet, no doubt one day I'll go to visit Missy H and do a Leeds meet. All I need to do now is find a friend in London and come to a London Meet. | |

By the way the Stranglers best songs were No More Heroes and Something Better Change from their punk phase though that was before the eighties. In the eighties they did some good songs like Golden Brown and the song you mentioned. | |
