Posted: 4/4/2008 9:51:49 AM | if we're talking a true psychological diagnosis, nymphomania is an addictive overwhelming need for sex...any outlet or partner will do, it's indiscriminate. a true nymphomaniac might not have the control to be faithful.
however, if we're talking social definitions of a nympho...basically just a normal woman with a very high sex drive...well then, yes, she's just as capable of monogamy as any other woman. but take your vitamins, you'll have to work your ass (and other parts) off to keep her satisfied in the bedroom. lack of satisfaction won't make her stray any more than any other woman, but when either person in a couple isn't having their needs met/acknowledged it can eventually damage the foundation of the relationship. | |

After several years of marriage, he can't keep up, so he allows other men to have sex with her to meet her needs and has no problem with it, as long as he's there (I don't know if there means being in the bed room or in just on the premises). Couldn't believe it, but I know this to be true. She likes to have sex many times a day, from what I understand. So, there are those kinds of people and there are certainly men who are insatiable (not me). I remember reading the book about the Boston Strangler and his wife reported that he would masturbate up to 12+ times a day. He had a constant urge. My two cents. | |
