| What is the biggest misconception about you Posted: 4/19/2005 8:04:06 AM | Everyone, even friends, seem amazed when i say something serious. I thin I give the impression of being somewhat a clown. While I admit that I joke around a lot, there's a time and place for it. When my neice passed on at the tender age of 6 months, I hung near my sister like a guardian angel. People would ask her question after question..... 'How are you feeling darlin'-was the one that got to me most. But I wasn't rude. I used tact and used my voice like honey. Often gently placing a hand on their shoulder and leading them off as I spoke for someone who didn't want to be noticed, let alone talk about it. Later people came to me and expressed suprise at home mature I was during the funeral. I guess people see a joker when they look at me, but that is hardly who I am. | |

| What is the biggest misconception about you Posted: 4/19/2005 8:27:55 AM | | Same as Ritz - they think I'm a snob 'cuz I'm shy. Well, maybe I'm not shy....I just don't want to have aimless conversations about the weather and reality TV....oh wait, maybe I AM a snob...no, no, I'm just selective, I want a conversation about something interesting...naw, I'm just a nerd. Better to be thought a snob than open my mouth and be found out as somebody who can't carry meaningless conversation....ah, who cares. Just don't talk to me when I'm deep in a book, LOL. | |

| What is the biggest misconception about you Posted: 4/19/2005 9:25:15 AM | A good question ....... I don't know how people perceive me (with the exception of my closest friends, who don't have to guess anything about me). | |

| What is the biggest misconception about you Posted: 4/19/2005 9:25:52 AM | • That I'm rude because I may be shy (seems common, I'll keep that in mind when meeting other people). • That I'm not serious. (Give me something to be serious about). • That I'm weird or crazy or stupid. • That I am a certain way. I don't like being categorized or labelled. I know it helps people when they can put things in the correct boxes, but there is no box for me - or there are many.
Bleh - most people don't 'get' me, which is fine, since they are usually not the kind of people I'd want to talk to anyway.
Oh lord, please don't let me be misunderstood.

| What is the biggest misconception about you Posted: 4/19/2005 10:51:39 AM | People in my class tend to think that I am stoned 24/7, because I'm quite laid back and because I don't hate peoples guts just because they do. I am also always the one that doesn't know she has an exam 20 minutes before it actually starts, doesn't know what lesson she is attending, doesn't know till what time she has classes and still makes it.
ok maybe..., 24/2.

| What is the biggest misconception about you Posted: 4/19/2005 11:01:26 AM | That I'm "brilliant." A couple of my siblings may be, but I'm plain old smart. That because I can still homer in softball 3 or 4 times a game that I can still kick everybody's ass like when I was a young "man." I am not as quick as I used to be, in all aspects of life. | |

| What is the biggest misconception about you Posted: 4/19/2005 11:01:29 AM | People see that I am really into the look or stereotype that I carry for the day. (i.e. badboy look in main pic) SO, they assume that I am "that" to the core and ONLY that to the core..
They do not realize that I can go deep into being another stereotyped way too.
Ifv yer gonna do it; do it 100%\
<----Many looks and interests; poser in none.
I have a long way to go before I get, even NEAR, the core of me ladies n germs.

| What is the biggest misconception about you Posted: 4/19/2005 11:10:03 AM | The biggest misconception is what people on POF think of me. Some think I am rude, egotistical, shallow, bad-boy type when the truth is far from it. Then again with most people, they can think what they want...it only matters what your real friends think...and with them, they know me.

BTW: FID " That I'm dishwasher safe"...now that's comedy dude!
