And get out those old Neru shirts and mod sunglasses and all that other hippie stuff your big brothers and sisters stashed away for safe keeping!!!
By the time we get to Fishstock, we'll be half a thousand strong...
And everywhere there'll be song and fishees flirtin'.

And I think we're ALL hippie wannabe's (except we are farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr too young  ) so we are all in our element...I can't wait to dress up for THIS gig...wooooooooooooo hooooooooooooo!!!

Clothing IS required - but - WHO WILL BE THE BEST DRESSED HIPPIE THERE????
WHO'S GOING TO BE OUR CHEECH AND CHONG, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Alvin Lee, etc etc look alike???? Would that not be a HOOT????

I'm a singer myself and as one that has performed with various artists, have had to learn many songs, various genres... so I DO appreciate music from the 40's to current, BUT just wondered as well about the songs covered. Perhaps you could post the set lists here. It may draw MORE out. Whatcha' think? OH, let me know if anyone gets laryngitis and you need or desire a fill in for lead and/or back-up harmony. *wink*
I suspect from the description of "hippie wear" above, that perhaps the focus may be on the 60's. Perhaps I should then come in my 60's Cher outfit that I've worn for the tribute to her. Haha. (hmm I haven't done that in a while)
Anyway, I do think I'll plan to attend this event. Hmm. I'll have to gather a group of friends to come on out with me!  | |

We have 8 Pof singers performing the songs in rotations . I'll throw a list of some songs on here just to give everyone an idea of the type of music they will hear . ( Good idea ) lol

we have people sign up so we can gage about how many will be attending to make sure we can accomodate and have enough for everyone coming....
You can certainly show up that night.....if you need a hotel ...make sure you book it...
