i dont have a problem being a shortarse, could not care less really, it has it advantages on either side . apart from dating, not too many ladies like short men, so that does make a difference to me

im 6 ft 4" with size 11 feet

pro's = good view at gigs/concerts, reach the top shelf easily in the ....newsagents , i can eat more without getting fat

cons = alot of women dont like someone alot taller than them, cinema seats are a joke, its hard finding the shoes i really want, off the peg trousers and suits look like shorts on me, i used to crawl out of my toyota mr2 on my hands and knees.

I'm 5'2" but usually wear heels, if I can't reach something in the supermarket I usually use the lower shelves as a ladder, if I'm wearing jeans, if I have a skirt on I prefer to ask a taller person.

Im 5'8" but always wanted to be shorter so I could have a wider choice of men - I prefer a man to be taller than I am.

I am 5ft 3ins although everyone seems to think I am taller - dont know how they work that one out apart from the fact that I have long legs (but a short body). Maybe I am good at wearing clothes that make me look taller.

I would like to have been a bit taller, but unless anyone has one of those rack thingies I dont think it will happen. Just have to keep wearing the heels!

I love being tall but at 6'6" i'm always getting stared at and Ladies say that they find a guy as tall as me intimidating.

So it has both plus and minus points to it!

i hate been tall im 6ft 6 n only 21 you get singled out, people think they will gain respect from their group if they knock ya down, your always the first one they start on, especially on a night out,

busses are a nightmare, ya sit at the back next to the emergency door so you have leg room but the bus is higher back there so you end up crackin ya head on the bloody lights lol, been tall is good for when ya go shoppin wi ya nan tho i suppose, she can't reach the top shelf, and it certainly helps in the job sometimes too, im a network engineer and as such can usually lift ceiling tiles from the floor, and i work in a pub and theres certain area's others cant reach lol

good points and bad points agreed but very few know what its like when your the first person people look at when you walk thru the door, does get a bit tiresom but hey, ya dont care after a few pints :P

I'm 6 ft 3 ins and I was only 14 years old when I stopped growing. One of my teachers (who was 5 ft 2 ins) didn't like tall people so he marked me down. Cost me an O Level.

He was disciplined for it though.

I'm 5ft4 and I hate it.......

People don't/won't take you seriosuly and especially women. It seems unless you conform to the "Tall/Dark/Handsome" bracket women don't want to know.

Also if you are short people think you are easily intimidated, which leads to this so called "Napoleon Syndrome" when the little guy stands up for himself.

Me...... I don't care if people are tall, short, fat, thin etc but then again people like me with an open mind seem to be a dying breed.

I'm 5'3" and its never bothered me being small, I use the lower shelves as a ladder if I need something from the top shelf unless there' a tall man to smile sweetly at!
I did meet a guy for lunch one day and first thing he said was "you're wearing heels"
He said he was 5'8 but obviously wasn't as I was taller then him and my heels were only 3"

I'm 5'9 and I dont mind until it comes to buying trousers.
Finding tall and big trousers is a task!
Finding tall and big trousers in my budget is just impossible!

I'm usually the one that gets asked to pick something off a shelf etc which I dont mind.

The other thing is I'm banned from wearing heels with my mate (which is no bad thing they kill!) because she is only 5'3 and complains of neck ache!

I'm 5ft and half an inch with 32in legs.
What I don't like:
I can't wear the petite trousers which would fit round my bum and waist OK as they are too short.
I can't easily buy an ice cream at the ice cream van!!
If a pub is crowded I don't get spotted at the bar until I stand on the foot rest on the bar.
Reaching up in Tesco's and no one helping so I look like a doughnut til I ask someone.

What I do like:
Tall men looking after you cos you're only little.
Having loads of leg room on a plane
Yes - having less to iron!!!
My sofas being lovely and huge for me to lie on!

I love bein 5'10", everybody seems to be impressed by my height and the length of my legs, although they are not so long as to be out of proportion to the rest of my body. The ideal height for most men, as in what they consider attractive is actually 5'9", I am only an inch above that. I get chatted up constantly, watched as I walk down the street etc., it may not just be my height they have noticed though, I do have a lovely smile as well.
