Posted: 7/21/2007 11:49:57 PM | hmmm....thinking I may get out on thursday and play a round or try to hit those little white things that are giving me a hard time! lmao! ....so, Duffster, any prizes for the most improved during the day? or the highest score? for those of us "beginners" that have the enthusiasm for golf, but not necessarily the skills? anyone staying out there or camping? just wondering?

Won't be able to stay for the dinner if I do come.

Hey Sassy, that stings a bit. How are we gonna kick butt if you don't want to have our threesome?
Which brings up a host of questions.
Do we still get two carts? And who rides alone? Can we ride 3 in 1 cart?
Since we are down one, can we use a footwedge club? Are mulligans available for purchase (proceeds to a charity) before we tee off?
Is the charity called the Duffy Shrinkage Endowment Fund (pronounced: dee-seff)(sorry Duff, can't let it die).
Vive a le D-SEF!!! Do D-SEF golfers use the same balls as regular golfers?
What would happen if the Viagra people had a line of golf balls for the PGA. Would these balls be longer, straighter, bounce further, be stiffer, would they land in the fairway or find the rough?
Aahhh, golf. So many questions, not enough strokes.

It is with great regret that my partner and myself have to pull out of the tournament as my partner has a tear in his ackillies tendon and cannot walk without crutches...therefore has to be off his feet for 2 weeks....we were so lookin forward to it. But have one next year and we will be there for sure. You guys all have a good time and I hope you can replace us with 2 more...again sorry and have fun. | |

Now we know why for these types of things it is better to have the monies paid in advance!! But rules are rules and the course was very kind to allow payment the day of the Tourney. Let's hope no more cancellations. I will have to revamp some of the teams and will post on Thursday.
See the remainder of you brave souls on the patio in front of the club house sometime between 8:00 and 9:54 Saturday. 
My headache will cease at about 9:58 on Saturday morning after hitting that little white thing almost to the green ( and if you don't believe I can do it please humour me and let me think I can!) | |
