But I don't like the way it appears smack-dab in the middle of the headline. I think inside the profile, maybe somewhere by the photos, would have been a better location. | |

The fish description in the middle of the profile banner looks ridiculous and is misplaced.
But hell, if this fish descriptor helps two fishies find themselves, so be it, whatever floats their fishie boat. | |

Back to the biology bit. I'm going have to start to look at profiles to see who / laugh at all the people who say they're barnacles- noted in the biology world not just for being hermaphorditic (like many other inertabrates) but also having the longest penis in the animal kingdom (thank you Dr Deacon for making sure I never forget that fact)--- what a way to increase activity on the site. :)

as for me, i think this is a cool idea
BUT
i dont like the fish type being listed between my username and my opening header
i think it would be better located in my description field | |

Posted: 3/14/2007 10:59:58 AM | Well I've always like seahorses but I went with dolphin - there was a great sci-fi novel about some alien species rescuing the smartest species off planet Earth when it was about to self-destruct and much to the dismay of the arrogant bipeds the aliens rescued the dolphins!
But Markus if you're going to add this "parameter" to our profiles would it not also make sense to add it to the advanced search? I couldn't find it - maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place?
