| Does Anyone Actually Look Like Their Pics?
Posted: 11/6/2007 6:31:17 PM | Every man I have ever met in person tells me my photos don't do me justice. That I'm so much more beautiful in person than in my pictures. I just can't seem to find pictures that capture the real me I don't guess.
I've met people who look better than their pictures and some that were not as handsome. But really, looks are not the most important factor - and not what I look for when searching for someone to spend time with. | |

What I was trying to communicate was that it must be awful awkward for someone who posted an old pic as they are driving out to meet someone they are interested in? What would you say to her lol........
Now that I think about it I change my mind, not awkward just plain old stupid.
I was just trying to help a lady out, reassure her that not all guys are deceptive.

Posted: 7/22/2009 7:01:20 PM | I've meet 4 people from POF in last 4 years. All four said I looked better in person. So I figure I must take bad pictures. But I'd prefer to look better than worse.
Out of those 4 none of them looked that much like their picture. 2 looked better and 2 didn't look as good. I just feel some folks take good pictures and others don't. Kind of makes you wonder if that person you passed up due to a picture didn't actually look nice in person. | |

Posted: 7/24/2009 9:42:41 AM | Agree with you SomethingRare I have had similar comments/results. Hey I post current pics, most are not the best but hey if someone passes me up due to photography they probably aren't what I am looking for anyway.
So far, the ladies that I have met, only one time did it not results in more dates and that was by mutual agreement, distance was just too great and the "spark" just didn't develop.

It's the least people can do. What...do they think that once you see them you will forget what their profile pic looked like? lol I totally agree. | |

No one has said I don't look like my pictures. And on the subject of pictures, I look at the face, does the smile reach his eyes? Just like in person, I look to see if the person looking at me is the real thing. | |
