How sad. I could have went yesturday, but the rider wanted more then just friends, so had to back out, and today well my brother is working now. and he won't let me go with his buddies lol....typical over protective brother...

Just wanted to give those of you who haven't left yet a weather update. Looks like it's going to be pretty nice, it's mild now ( a teeny tiny breeze) and the sun is peaking out. I think it's going to be nice

If anyone is thinking of still heading this way, there's tons of people kicking around and you'll be staying dry. I had to go through 3 police check-points to find my way into town, but finally made it. Hope everyone is enjoying themselves in my neck of the woods - July will definitely be a whopper... | |

Posted: 4/13/2007 5:39:32 PM | Just got back to Toronto, and can I just say that I don't think I've ever been so cold lol I had many layers on and still froze. Still had a great time of course!!! my ears are still ringing from the roar of the engines... amazing! I'm sad for those who had to miss it, but just think what you have to look forward to come July! I can only imagine how big it'll be.
I'm off to the bike show tomorrow!

Posted: 4/13/2007 7:39:53 PM | Hi all well I am back from Dover and it was great, this was my first time so now I can say was there done that got the t-shirt. But boy was it ever cold I did not know fingers could get that cold without falling off.
Angelp I am so sorry you misted it what happened to your ride. Me Bartpan, UI and Glide road in to town around 12 left around 16h Glide is still there partying I whish I was still there to party with him, fun guy. Guys thanks for a fun day the ride was super July will be even more fun maybe more POF ladies will be able to come.

Yes Glide is a super guy, known him for a few years. I opened a MSN site for bikers a few years back and he was gracious enough to host a couple biker BBQ's for me. Maybe if I ask nice, we can do it again for POF bikers ...what do you think?
Bike show tomorrow....maybe bump inot a few of you there

Spent the evening in the h-h-h-h-h-h-h-eated tent ,though they had a b-b-b-b-b-b-b-etter band at Angelo's. Didn't meet any of the f-f-f-f-f-f-f-f-ishes , but had enough friends show up  to have a p-p-p-p-p-p-arty  anyways. It was a l-l-l-l-l-l-l-ong c-c-c-c-c-c-c-c-old ride home. | |

Well I gave a weather update at 10 to 9 yesterday morning from my backyard which is right in Dover, and at THAT particular time it was a teeny breeze ;)
Next time I will be more cautious to do every hour on the hour weather updates ;) :P
Definitely hope to see all in Dover for July! Rain or shine, there's no excuse :P | |

I will be there in July for sure though , its projected there will over 100,000 bikers in Dover this coming July 13th, what an experience that should be.

If you are heading from the Simcoe direction, it is ALSO 13 km (on the sign) until you hit the metropolis of Dover. Just a little fun fact for you...
