Spooning is when you lay beside another person, with your back to them, and they lay behind you, cuddled up in the same position you are in...hence the "spooning" effect. Picture yourself with your one arm under the pillow, laying on your side, legs bent up towards your chest. Now put your S.O. behind you, one arms draped over you, with their legs bent up too, so that they are in sync with yours. THAT's spooning. It's intimate, but not sexual. | |

Alhough I havent had sex in along time , I have however recently spooned..it was the best non-sex Ive had . Yeahhh for spooners! | |

Posted: 3/22/2007 10:29:32 PM | I agree with cuddlesnk... spooning is a way to be close to your partner by being like spoons in a drawer... one partner on their side, the other partner behind them with their bodies lined up together in every curve... like spoons in a drawer. This doesn't always include sex... but can. Sometimes just the simple act of spooning gets me turned on so most of the time it ends up with having sex... but... not always heehee  | |
