My comments had more to do with why a guy would think they are fake,
I don't 'think' they are fake, that is what I was told. I hear some girls at work who like to go to the gay clubs talking about 'lipstick lesbians' and ask what they were. The answer I got: Women who like to kiss other women, appearing lesbian, to drive guys in the bars nuts. But they really don't go any further than kissing.
Hence the 'lipstick' in the term. They are swapping lipstick and pretending to be lesbians.
Personally I could care less. Real, fake, whatever floats your boat is good by me.
I wonder if the difference in definitions here is just like any other slang. It means one thing in California, another in NY, and another across the pond.

I am also completely gay. I've been out since I was seventeen. I've never been with a guy. I have no interest in guys. I've dated butcher girls but I really like more feminine girls. I guess I'm a femme into other femmes. :)
But... cha. I am not a porn star, nor do I look or act like one. I'm not a male fantasy and never strived to be one. It actually took me a very long time to become comfortable with being feminine AND gay. | |
