Perhaps there are other aspects of your profile that are discouraging fellows from contacting you. Currently you live in "Exterior, British Columbia". I admit I not familiar with every community in this fair province but suspect if I were to search for "Exterior" would not find it.
So perhaps it isn't so much Who or What you have or What you look like but Where you are? Long-distance relationships by definition are both difficult and expensive.
I think if you want to hide you will get little attention.

I have ended up talking to some great guys who actually have been caught looking at my profile regularly but were scared to contact me (you KNOW who you are!)
I understand it shows if u want to check someone's profile out the first time, but if they keep looking at your pics more than once then they must have some interest.
This feature almost works like a wink if you notice that someone keeps looking (or you can at least put a fact to your next stalker). | |

Wish there was a button I could click on so I can say Show I Viewed or
Don't Show I Viewed

Probably just as well. The top row of the “Viewed Me” page doesn’t actually show frequent views, just users who viewed you at some point (and maybe once only) and when they were last online. | |

No harm in looking, and since we all put ourselves on here freely, looking at each other on this type of forum would not be considered stalking. I do find it interesting that many people seem come across as too perfect, something to be vary of as no one is perfect, except Jesus and maybe the Dalai Lama. It's all in fun, and if some make that magic connection, how wonderful it is too meet someone that trully compliments you. | |

On an up note I get to look at them and keep on going sometimes, a lot of the time I will drop a small note to them but very seldom hear back. | |

there is,... go to mail settings and you can click on the option of if you don't want people to see that you viewed them. | |

Posted: 9/13/2008 6:11:21 PM | Base on repeated observations I realize that some people do not understand exactly how the "Viewed Me" feature of POF works.
Months ago a woman (since deleted) wrote and said something to the effect "I notice you keeping viewing me. Whatever you are looking for you won't find it here."
I politely explained I needed to have looked at her profile only once with stealth settings off. She didn't even thank me, she blocked me. Go figure.
The top row of user photos or user names is users who have at one point viewed the profile. They need have viewed the profile only once.
The second and other lines is users sorted by when they last viewed the profile.
I am frequently on a computer for other reasons but when I am online I am usually logged into POF as well. Sometimes my stealth settings are off.
So it is likely that my photo frequently shows up in the top row of viewers, though I might have looked at a profile only one time and it could have been long ago too.
