| Tattoos Posted: 3/16/2007 9:33:43 AM | | liveluv....It took me a bit to get to the point of finally gettiing one,I was a big chicken too, I didnt know what to expect. And when i did go it wasnt too bad at all. It also depends on your pain tolerance too, to me it felt like a cat scratching in the same spot over and over but just like labour pain its goes away when its done LOL. | |

| Tattoos Posted: 3/16/2007 1:37:21 PM | I have four, my left upper arm has a small flower and thorn tat, took me till I was thirty-five to get it then I was hooked LOL. I have three on my right arm, all from a comic company with evil anti-heroes LOL The largest one on my left upper arm is the good one, I've had people ask me if it's Eddie from Iron Maiden. It's one of the characters from the books. I've had a lot of compliments on my psychotic button on my wrist, I had my boys name's tattoeed around it to make it look like a watch with a big face.
I had a customer come in just after I started my new job and just slam me for having a tattoo, that man must've went on for about 15 minutes about how wrong that was for anyone to have especially women. I got so agitated I asked him if he was the president of the anti-abortion movement too. He didn't like that too much.
| Tattoos Posted: 3/16/2007 11:28:32 PM | | Yup, Lotwell- I feel exactly the same. The job kinda limits where they could go, anyway- | |
| Tattoos Posted: 3/17/2007 8:40:52 AM | i have 9 so far and am looking for more flames on the forearms along with my daughter a dragon and wizard on left upper arm a design of my own with 2 japanese dragons in it on my right arm a canadian flag over my heart a skull from a group on my right calf a ying/yang with a dragon/dolphin on my left calf and a pin up on my left thigh
there is only really one you can't see and i don't know why people would want to get them in "places" where they can be covered up. i know in some lines of work it is not acceptable to show them and that's too bad.i think tats are beautiful and sexy and that they should be seen...............
| Tattoos Posted: 3/17/2007 9:35:15 AM | Three, first is Zeus on the right shoulder, second is an eagle that covers most of my back, third is a symble for the legalization of Maryjane. My only regret is I can't see the eagle without a mirror. Been twenty years since the last one, more are must likely in the picture | |

| Tattoos Posted: 3/17/2007 12:09:58 PM | Hazel I agree with you guys with tattoos are DAMN sexy!! Just love them! When I get mine I won't want to cover them but in my work I have too. Its considered unprofessional. But when not at work *WINK* I don't plan to keep them covered!! Plan to get first one this summer...woohooo can't wait!! | |

| Tattoos Posted: 3/17/2007 12:33:00 PM | I have a few.. Do I want more? HELL YEAH It's funny how most people wait til summer to get a tatty when it's actually the worst time as the sun really damages and fades the work. | |

| Tattoos Posted: 3/17/2007 3:36:31 PM | I presently have 4 tatts, all Hot Rod theme'd one a 1941 Willy's Gasser, a variation on a 1956 F100 V8 emblem, and on my forearms is "Mr Horsepower" done as and . Helps that my Daughter is a Tattoo artist. | |
| Tattoos Posted: 3/17/2007 10:14:17 PM | that's a good call on the summer tats... you don't want your tat that new to come in contact with the sun for a prolonged period of time and if you like to swim, well that's a no no for atleast 2 weeks and the chlorine is nooo good for it.if you can cover it and don't plan on swimming then fill your boots.
i have a great guy i go too but it is so hard to get in to see him.i have seen some pretty shitty work out there too. i go to lady luck and see D. they all do good work there.have a dutchman one too but so expensive now.anyone know of a good place that does good work? you can find ladyluck and the dutchman on the net.what about your place so as we can see some work.............

| Tattoos Posted: 3/18/2007 11:39:17 PM | I have two tattoos - got them both at the same time last Spring. One of them is a memorial for family members I've lost (they are stars around a stylized woman representing my zodiac sign) on my calf/ankle and the other is a Japanese symbol for the Year of the Dog on the back of my shoulder. Figured my zodiac signs would never change!
I love them and the pain wasn't that bad. The smaller one actually hurt more but it helped having a hawt tattoo artist doing it:) I checked out a few places but went with Adrenaline in Vancouver. They were professional and answered all my questions plus they were very, very picky about cleanliness which I liked.

| Tattoos Posted: 3/19/2007 9:59:26 AM | I have one and its a dragonfly on my lower back. I picked a dragonfly for very sentimental reasons. I loved getting the Tattoo. It did not hurt. It was a good kind of pain. The only regret I have is that I cant see it because its on my back. Its not caled a S L U T Stamp . It is called a TRAMP STAMP. | |
