What's the point?
You already had your kids!
You've already got the house or career or whatever.

Posted: 3/18/2007 3:07:45 PM | I'm sure that many women would have sex with you friend, the problem is that he doesn't know how to get sex in a short period of time, let me explain, as an example lets say that your friend ask a girl out, she likes him and he likes her but what's the kind of response that a regular guy can expect if he ask for sex in the first date?, maybe I'm wrong and it would be more accurate to post a poll for that question right?, in my opinion he'll receive a NO for an answer, in order to understand you friend in a rational way (forget you emotional reaction of being offended with him) it would easier to understand the situation on a biological basis, for men in general sex is a biological function, like breathing, eating, etc. when a man doesn't have his portion of sex, he MUST have one way or another, this is why porn is very popular with men, this is why man go with prostitutes and escorts, if you ask a man to stop having sex is the same as if you ask him to stop breathing or eating maybe he could do it for a while but for sure the repression would cause some kind of disorder (there's where the pervs come from).
Now for your question of how common for people (man?) is to use prostitutes or escorts, the response depends in many factors, with this kind of question you could get very different responses for different kind of people you know?, for example I'm sure you won't get the same response from men that earn $15,000. a year and for other that earn $300,000 in the same period of time, maybe both use the service of a prostitute the difference will be in the cost of the service.
I recognize that for women is different, and is very normal, because there are two different biologies and also men and women have sex for different reasons, many men use the service of prostitutes because is less time consuming and is very practical ( any position on the bed without sour faces, any time, any where, no liability after sex calls, no emotional or economical commitment after the act is performed ), I understand that you won't do it and is very simple to for you because you are a woman, lets say that "X" woman is very horny and want to have sex now, what are her options to get it?, in my opinion? her possibilities are endless, for example she can call pizza hut and do it with the delivery person, she can go to a bar and make the proposition to most of the guys (if she has an average look or less than average) and I'm assure you that she'll have it, in the other hand, are the same possibilities for a guy?, I don't think so.
Regarding your comment of "It goes against my morals and it's degrading really", let me say this to you at the moment I'm writing these lines there are many men that think that a very large portion of the dating, courtship, marriage and divorce scene is a very mercenary thing, most guys go all this path in order to have sex with a woman, is accepted for a very large portion of society, a prostitute and a mercenary are not very different , there are unspoken rules that dictate that a man has to pay for food, entertainment, gifts, etc. and later he has to pay for the kids, the house and bills, later if the marriage doesn't work in most cases he has to pay for all the aspects a divorce takes, if we see the practicality of this solution we can see also an answer to the dilemma right?
I understand that you are angry and maybe resented with prostitutes, is your decision, it is possible that at that time you were not giving him sex? because you want to punish him in some form?, or another possibility is that maybe, for him the sex life in the marriage was too boring, or is just human biology, there are some books that speak regarding this subject, in a nutshell if you ask a man to stop having sex it won't happen, trust me. | |

I will admit I am a working gal....a prostitue........an escourt........I am a high class grl with taste and refinement and that is why I do good buisness. Clients see me for that. For class not crass.
Its hard for people on the outside of the industry to really understand. Your either ok with the idea or you hate it. But its not the stereotype you may be thinking of. Before I stared working I thought being an escourt was the most degrading and humiliating thing possible. I thought that all the grls would look and act in a certain way and that's that. But its not true. You make of yourself what you wish. If you wanted to be that 20$ heady grl on the corner than that your perogative, but you can also build yourself up. I work in 5 star places around sydney, australia. Every room is immaculate and amazing. Nothing dirty about it. In terms of being degredating or humiliating I belive you make a rod for your own back. If you let clients do what they want and get away with it than yes you are the stereotype and deserve to be treated as such but being in the room is one of the most power inducing experiences of my life. I am always in control (nothing bdsm about it? Lol). Never letting them do or say anything I don't like or that isn't safe. There is nuthing degredating or humiliating about the way I work. You've got to think a gentleman come in and picked you out of 15 other grls for your ability to maintain class and to trip him with a single glance. Its an artform really and after working in the industry I can say I feel more empowered and proud of myself than I ever have.
Sure you get some bad clients and they do treat you like shit but you've gotta remember that one client treats you like shit but the next client brings you roses and champaine. You get treated the way you will let yourself be treated. All sorts of gentelman come through that door and all are looking for the same basic thing. And belive it or not a lot of the time its not sex. Its a companion. They want someone to listen, cause no one else in there life will. I've spent hours with clients talking to them about there families, jobs ect. I've even fixed a marriage or 2.....
All I'm trying to say is there's a lot more to the industry than meets the eye. You can't judge anyone of us for what we do we each have our own reasons as do you all when you get out of bed and go to the same job everyday.
Not every escourt is dirty either....I know I certainly aint. I've never had an STD or STI in my life and "if its not on its not on." And clients do respect that.
In short please try and remember that not all working gals stand on a corner, wearing cum stained clothes with track marks up there arms. They could be anyone. You would never know I was one unless I told you because I choose not to fall into that sterotype.

Posted: 3/18/2007 4:31:37 PM | I have a friend who lives in Thailand, he's from the USA but has worked there for many years and it is nothing for him to have and yes even live with women who only have sex if money is involved, I have visited him many times there and it is a fun place the people are very nice and everything is dirt cheap but everytime I visit he's trying to get me to pay the waitress her nightly wages and take her to my hotel but I just can't bring myself to do it, I don't drink a lot except when in Vegas or Thailand LOL and even in my drunkest hour I have never paid a woman for sex.
To tell the truth I don't ever think by friend will come back to the USA because I'm sure he's gone crazy over there LOL, he actually thinks hello how are you is a great pick up line and it seems to work quite well LOL in Thailand.

I see nothing wrong wtih paying your own rent when nobody is being harmed and I agree with Sabel that not all working girls necessarily have self esteem or drug issues. There is another option~you could raise your standards, open your eyes to red flags, learn to love yourself, and hope the person of your dreams walks into your life. Sex is nothing if you don't care about yourself. Paying for sex, no matter what the excuse is, is a sign that the person doesn't value themself. Yes I do see that the opinion abounds in these forum posts amongst a majority of women that sex without commitment and emotion is somehow wrong. I cant agree with you more...... Please katerpiller, I wish to inform you that not all people can sit around and wait for mr right. I know I sure as hell can't. Lol. Hun I got bills to pay. I need to live. And I can definately assure you that there is nothing fundamentaly wrong with majority of the clients that I have and do see. Having said that yes there are some wacko's out there. But self worth doesn't come into the situation. I've seen gentlemen from various preimier football clubs in sydney....(parramatta eels, and st george illawarra ). I find this to be honest and sensible for men and women. I have an event coming up and if I could feel comfortable w/finding an "escort" i damn well would have.. Guys are as flakey as women. Just to go to an event is a "why" "what does this mean" - It means, I have to go somewhere and would prefer to be there with a man. For a variety of reasons.. they freak out like I am going to attach to them. the surprise that i don't have a man in my life...I really have no interest in an attachment at this moment in time. There is a big difference but not a lot of peole will see it that way. Sometimes a client just wants to feel like someone cares. They don't even have sex. They just want a friendly face across the table or a fall back for the dreaded school reunion.......

I've once had a girlfriend that lived briefly in an appartment building that had many crack head street walkers.
