Women want to change men - do men ever want to change?

The only way a person will truly change is if that person initiates it themselves. Everybody, man or woman, has free will and the right to choose. A woman trying to change me would only tell me that she doesn't like me for who I am and at that point, I end the relationship. Take me as I am, or no deal.

I have changed myself, but only on my own accord, and when i was single. I would never ask anyone, especially my partner, to change. To do so, would be the anti-thesis of love.

you can never have a happy and successful relationship as long as your trying to change your partner. it's a very poor attitude to have. take the good with the bad, and be respectful of eachother. maybe this is why more then half of marrages end in divorce

Why would anybody want to change themselves for the sole purpose of pleasing somebody else ? Isn't that what about a million people in here have posted endless times in infinite threads ?

Basically, if somebody wants to change my personality then what the hell are they doing with me in the first place ? If that happened wouldn't the complaint then become "he's not the guy I used to know !" ?
