| Your Coolest Friends Feature. Posted: 3/19/2007 6:17:15 PM | I don't see why we can't have some decent added features
not fish personalities and "bestest friends" lists
but maybe a couple more mail filters or a way to save our advanced searches for future use.

Now that is a idea that would get some significant use.

| Your Friends Feature. Posted: 3/19/2007 8:26:16 PM | | I have to admit I have some reservations about this feature; your favorites list as a very positive thing; and of course if you want to see if you are on anyone's favorites, you just click above. there is a gray area, yet there is some privacy. but the dating world is complicated enough; I have had the privelige of meeting some people off of this website, and being that there is the "human element"; I feel that if I should think highly of someone, my reasons are my own, and at the same time , these persons feelings should be taken into considerations; those that are on my favorite list know that they are there(perhaps I'm being deep here?) that being said, when I give friendship, a high amount of respect is placed upon that, and the viewing world does not need to see that. you have some good people on here, with some very good hearts; and that needs to be taken into consideration..you can take that to the bank...god bless the attitude! | |

| Your Friends Feature. Posted: 3/19/2007 8:36:23 PM | Great idea...you can see who is real and who is a phonie | |

Great idea...you can see who is real and who is a phonie Yeah right. Seeing as how some of the people who are on the most popular list have photos from 20 year old playboy ads. I don't see how this will be much different.
|
| Your Friends Feature. Posted: 3/19/2007 8:52:20 PM | | I happen to think this is a great idea. Yes, we have the Favorites list BUT there is a difference between being on a person's Favorites list and being on a person's Friends list. | |

| Your Friends Feature. Posted: 3/19/2007 8:58:55 PM | OK, some of you people need to wind your necks in a bit here. If you don't like a feature, that's fine. Markus asked for your opinion. You are free to give it. However, your offensive, ignorant and insulting remarks, I think, are quite out of place. You friggin' social hand-grenades need to learn a bit about common decency and decorum. There is no need to offend someone to get your opinion heard. Behave!
How about some of you try this instead: explain why you don't like something in constructive, polite terms and offer a suggestion for an improvement. Don't insult whoever tries to improve this site just because they have instituted an option that fails to appeal to you. If you don't like something in this site, you are free to leave and ask for a refund of any money you paid at any time.
There are a few things that are planned to improve this site and I am sure that when Markus gets the chance, he will get to them. Remember, he has a tasklist as big as you think your penis/breasts is/are.
I am sure I will be flamed for butt-sucking and probably even be called arrogant but I don't care, I am better than you flamers anyway!
Look, two jumping things ----->

| Your Friends Feature. Posted: 3/19/2007 9:18:17 PM | Actually, a lot of the people who didn't care for the new feature gave good and legitimate reasons for their dislike of it.
Maybe if you don't like other people posting their opinions you should leave and start your own little site where you can be Supreme Ruler, because buddy, you sure aren't anything on this one.
|
| Your Friends Feature. Posted: 3/19/2007 9:41:05 PM | You are right, a lot of people did give valid reasons why they didn't like that feature. I wasn't aiming my comments at those people.
A lot of the comments are rude and offensive. Do you disagree that there are some rude, offensive people here?
I certainly don't object to people posting their opinions at all. I just don't think they need to be insulting while doing it. Do you disagree with that?
Why did you feel it necessary to insult me? After all, I only offered my opinion. I could understand you getting upset if I made a comment about, oh, I don't know...surrey girls...or something like that. But I didn't, so wind your neck in!
Back to you... (please respond...I can't wait to hear what you have to say next!)

| Your Friends Feature. Posted: 3/19/2007 10:50:36 PM | | I happen to agree with you. I dont think i should have to "rate" my friends for all the world to see. My friends are my friends for many differnt reasons and some are special in ways that others arnt and vice versa. every one is differnt and should be cared for as if there differnt. you should never have to judge your friends. | |

| Your Coolest Friends Feature. Posted: 3/20/2007 12:19:08 AM | ??? same sex??? I didn't see anything that said our 3 friends had to have the same sex! I aint had sex for so long that I wouldn't wish that on ANY friends little loan 3 of them! | |
|
| Your Coolest Friends Feature. Posted: 3/20/2007 12:32:57 AM | ok, all joking aside! I guess it's a neat little feature, but "m not sure if I'll use it. My friendships are private as all of my friends are married! They aren't here anyway they dont have reason to look for a date! I did get some nice "testimonials" which was very sweet of the men who gave them to me (thank you, thank you) but the greatest feature about the internet itself is the right to remain anonymous! My face to face friends dont wish to be here, I have reservations about marking the friends that I've made here---another privacy issue. Guarding their feelings etc
I kinda sorta wish there was a way to mark the real rejects or to warn others from contacting someone! I met one guy here who was stll in love with his drunked x and continued to go see her to get beaten up while he professed how good i was for him! I marked him with a big red L and called NEXT real quick like!
There really is NOTHING wrong with this feature!! But an advanced search would've been nicer, as would a bunch of new emoticons and I'm sure that there are other new features coming out soon. Anyway!! Being that this is a FREE site, thank you very much for continuing to make new features and improvements for us here!!

| Your Coolest Friends Feature. Posted: 3/20/2007 4:29:47 AM | At first I thought this might have been a good feature to add. But as I thought a little more about it... this definitely wouldn't be benefitial to me. For me I'm new to the city I'm in, don't have friends here or on this site, so that wouldn't help me in anyway. Maybe if we all met each other at these functions you have in each city. We might change our minds. | |
|
| Your Coolest Friends Feature. Posted: 3/20/2007 6:11:44 AM | Well, is this like the "pick your fish feature"? Overall big flop.
I don't think having a favorite favorites list make's anyone seem more "REAL" to anyone! I think before going to the time to add a new feature it should be described and perhaps an example shown. Only after people give feed back should it be put into effect.
Here is a brain storm!! What about a spell check program??? Hey novel idea! Call me Bill Gates.
|
| Your Friends Feature. Posted: 3/20/2007 2:21:41 PM | I don't think it's stupid or terrific, it's a feature. One that I won't use as I, like many, have more than 3 friends. I think that's the input Markus was looking for, how many users would be using it. I do think it's great that he's always trying out new things, adding features. I choose which I use and which I pass on. I would think that's what most would do, but what do I know? | |
|
| Your Coolest Friends Feature. Posted: 3/20/2007 3:21:21 PM | | I don't like it. It will cause hurt feelings for people outside the three. Besides, I don't really like everyone to know who I'm talking to. Also, none of my closest friends are on this site. | |
|
| Your Friends Feature. Posted: 3/20/2007 4:02:26 PM | I don't get it. I have met most of the people that I have on my favorites. Same for those who have put me on their favorite list(s). They know I am real. I know what my intentions are (genuine). Not sure why anyone needs to try this option, but I appreciate the efforts in providing it to all users. so its a "no thanks" for me. | |
|
| Your Friends Feature. Posted: 3/20/2007 5:19:00 PM | | I'd like to make a suggestion... where it says Looking For: and the choices are MALE or FEMALE... I think a third choice should be added... FRIENDS | |
|
| Your Friends Feature. Posted: 3/20/2007 5:31:16 PM | Man oh man, I hope I can rotate my favs for this feature. So many friends and only 3 spaces.
I like this feature. Saw it first on Spanky_69's profile and had to find out more about it. Another nice option, thanks.
Chris.
