I don't think some of them know what they are looking for...and really don't know when someone great is in front of them. They don't respond, they throw one liners and don't hear back from them. Please, I have more could have more luck at a local bar. It is quite sad, I have given a few plenty of chances...to bad for them. Seems like lots of ladies want guys that are players and treat them like !@#%^! Such a headache for us good quality guys...

I am about to see if what they say about women in other countries are true since all i read about are how spoiled North American women are. I have yet to meet any that are single, not dating anyone and are actually nice that look half way decent. | |

I would rather be with a woman than sitting in front of a computer with nothing better to do than vent about dating. That seems to be what this site is about-venting or being rude to someone that has given this site an honest try and even though you meet somoen's long list of dating requirements , you still get no replies. Are the women REALLY that popular ? I doubt it. Seems too many women on POF have the time to be on the forums complaining that men only want sex or there are no decent guys . Whatever. .
Maybe the sites that charge like match are not so bad. At least the members have a financial incentive to meet someone since they are paying a monthly fee. | |

If you really wanna meet someone that is great just wait for them... you cannot just go out and be like "this guy is the one" it's bullshit! I think my friend put it best when he said they should change the same of this site to " plenty of damaged goods"!

i have also been on and off this site for a while, i go thru the phase where i give up then i come back to see if its any differant, unfortunatly a lot of men on here ARE just after what they can get and use this site a bit like an unpaid brothel, but i dare say there are some women that do the same.  , but none the less we are all looking for the same outcome in the end, and yes you do have to kiss a lot of frogs to find yr prince/ss. after all its all in the chemistry...  | |

I will tell you this, from a few years experience on this and other dating sites, from simple observation,from converstations with other single/divorced/widowed people, that attitude is EVERYTHING. If you go anywhere, online or IRL, thinking you are going to meet rejects, perverts, horndogs, that is EXACTLY what you WILL meet.
So that being said stop ****ing about not meeting someone on a ****ing internet site.

I guess you (one) have to a kiss a lot of frogs, so clearly you don't want to put too much effort in only find out that the creature has remained an amphibian ! When I us IM (rarely), I start with a simple "Hello", and if there's no answer (usual), after about 2 minutes, close that conversation, assuming they don't want to chat, or they have gone away and left themselves logged in, or are chatting to someone else. Would you say that behaviour is incorrect ? | |
