SO WHY DONT YOU QUIT SMOKING..?

I used to smoke I am a widow cause my husband wouldnt quit

Now, I am intrigued, lol. I agree with you on the smoker thing, and I am one. However, it is one of my few hang ups, and I really don't want anyone who is so concentrated on such things. Everyone has something they must improve on, and if someone judges you because you fell into the old "I will try smoking because all my friends do it", then they are just ignorant anyway. Most people get hooked at a very young, impressionable age. By the time a person is wise enough to know they need to quit, there are so many stressors in their life, it becomes difficult to deal with. I do know I don't want to be a smoker forever, but also don't want that to determine who will be interested in me. They don't understand, then it's their loss not mine. I could have sooo many worse habits, and ALOT of people do....not just physically either, lying is one of the worse possibilities! Actually, I have always said if I am still smoking by my 30th birthday (which is this summer), then I would finally give it my best shot at quitting. But NOT to increase my potential dates. To ensure my life will stay healthy, and that I will be able to watch my children grow up! Just my thoughts on the matter...not trying to offend anyone here. | |

I am working on many aspects of my life...smoking is next. In August, I will try...whether I feel like it or not. If I don't make it by the time I go back to work (a school), because I really don't want to deal with the stress, I will let my doctor prescribe me something. I just hope I am so phyically active, that I just pump up my work outs instead of eating, lol. That's the plan anyway. I ALWAYS have a plan! If one doesn't work out, I simply revise it and try again. Anyway, other than the smoking thing, what do you think of my profile. I try my best to be honest...you know, keep it real. You seem very smart as well. It would be interesting to see what you think of my writing skills, lol. If you want to post it in the forum, I don't think it would embarrass me? Doesn't matter either way, I guess is what am saying. | |
