As for our last "get together", I think the majority decided to meet at Slick Willie's for a night of pool playing. I see two locations, in the phone book. One on Reno, one on NW Expressway. If there is one, not listed on south side, someone please let me know.
The date will be the first Saturday in June, which is the 2nd. Shall we say 6:00? Not 100% sure about which Slick Willie's just yet, so check in here often. Should have a definate location posted by May 23rd, for sure.
You guys need to work on getting some women to come. Just email them, and ask them to check out the forum here. NOT that I don't enjoy, being one of the FEW women, in a bunch of you good looking guys, in our group......
As usual, let me know how many can show. I might be able to get us a "special rate" if a bunch of us make it.

This is my first time to read the forums. Thanks for going to the trouble of trying to get people together. I'm not much on pool but would like to come anyway. I think I saw someone say that she was probably older - me too - but still like to meet new single people. Seems like all my friends are married or involved and it it hard to find someone just to have some fun with. Dates are great but there is allot more pressure involved than just showing up somewhere for a nice time. That sounds fun.

I've been a POF member for years but haven't been around enough to get involved (and when I could have, no one would show). I'm not familiar with the city much since I live in Enid, so I may need to get a number from someone familiar with the area in case I can't find my way.

Thanks for checking out the forums, and for interest in our "Get Together". I would have hoped by now, we would have more people posting, letting me know, how many would be showing. So far, have gotten some "if I can make it's" but as far as definate r.s.v.p's, it's just us 3.
I think we should reschedule our meeting for later in month, to hopefully get more interest generated. Last meeting, more people showed up, than had posted that they would, but since this is an "activity" meeting, I want to get as many people to let me know, they can make it, as possible. It's possible, that we can get a "reduced rate", if alot of people have plans on coming.
So, I'm officially rescheduling this meeting until JUNE 16th..... will continue with the POOL PLAYING Get Together, but that may change as well, depending on the number of people who want to come.
Sorry for any inconvenience, Shawn, and Mary Alice, and hope by June 16th, we will have a bunch of people letting me know, they want to come.

Sounds like we got the "ball rolling" on this next meeting....Thanks to all, who are letting me know, they can make it....Let's make it official, shall we? June 16th, Saturday 6:00p.m. at Slick Willie's, 4000 W. Reno. South side of Reno, between Portland and Meridian. Next to Henry Hudson's. I will let them know, at front, that we will be expecting people to show. Just ask for Debbie, and am sure, they will direct you to where we will be. Of course, you will be able to tell, we'll be the group, having ALL the fun.....
Whether you're a professional pool player or not, (like me), am sure we'll have a good time....Come to make new friends.....
