Posted: 7/6/2007 3:47:52 AM | Well I don't really like the bar scene either unless with a group of people. I love to go Karokee, sing with others not alone. I would love a party at the lake and go fishin, boating and swimming, or just a cook out some where and good conversation.

For details, and ideas for our next outing, please go to the "Next outing....Lake....Give me feedback" thread. Think we will probably end up going bowling this time, due to the weather.

Posted: 10/3/2007 7:06:08 AM | I find Bricktown to be both over-priced and over-rated, and I sure wouldn't care for paying for parking and walking thru there after dark... plus it will be turning cooler.
I just spent the last 5 days downtown for a convention. All I can say is I remembered why I haven't missed working there the past 20 years.  I wouldn't care for anything too far north since just getting to OKC is a 30 mile commute for me. | |

Sadly, for a 22 year old, I haven't been in a relationship in over a year. I stopped dating to get my life back on track, and I dropped all of my bad influence friends... Now I seem to have a social group consisting of about 5 people.
I'd love to be at a get together with a bunch of people, even if it's just to meet new friends!
Is there anything that anyone is planning? | |

Well... I have night blindness so 2 things I dislike are shorter days and traveling in areas I am unfamiliar with after sunset. | |

Last I heard from Monte, (Okiefire) he was thinking about a "meet and greet" after Thanksgiving, and before Christmas. I thought he would have something definate planned by now so I've been keeping an eye on the forums myself. If you don't see anything posted about an event in THIS thread, check out "Local singles events". In the meantime, I'll drop him a line, and see if he has anything in the works.....

I'm still without power as I write this from a friends house. ICE Storm 2007 has probably kept lots of fishers off line.
New years Eve has Opening Night downtown... with Flaming Lips concert at the Cox center, and Blazers hockey vs Tulsa , and all the other events down town.
Where else is there a happening?
