| Lyrics that move you Posted: 3/24/2007 1:38:23 PM | That song is beauftiful,
Eric wrote that song for his own son, when his son passed on after falling out of a window of a highrise building, if I recall correctly.
Here is a pretty Bruce Springsteen song: Secret Garden:
She'll let you in her house If you come knockin' late at night She'll let you in her mouth If the words you say are right If you pay the price She'll let you deep inside But there's a secret garden she hides
She'll let you in her car To go drivin' 'round She'll let you into the parts of herself That'll bring you down She'll let you in her heart If you got a hammer and a vise But into her secret garden, don't think twice
You've gone a million miles How far'd you get To that place where you can't remember And you can't forget
She'll lead you down a path There'll be tenderness in the air She'll let you come just far enough So you know she's really there And she'll look at you and smile And her eyes will say
She's got a secret garden Where everything you want Where everything you need Will always stay A million miles away

| Lyrics that move you Posted: 3/24/2007 3:23:03 PM | There are so many songs that move me I could never list them all. I think like Brian who posted this thread there is one for every major event in my life. But the following lyric by Collin Raye touches me especially as someone I once loved and lost way too young taught me so very much about me.
In This Life
For all I've been blessed with in this life There was an emptiness in me I was imprisoned by the power of gold With one honest touch, you set me free
Let the world stop turning Let the sun stop burning Let them tell me love's not worth going through If it all falls apart, I will know deep in my heart The only dream that mattered had come true In this life, I was loved by you
For every mountain I have climbed Every raging river crossed You were the treasure that I longed to find Without your love I would be lost
Let the world stop turning Let the sun stop burning Let them tell me love's not worth going through If it all falls apart, I will know deep in my heart The only dream that mattered had come true In this life i was loved by you
In this life, I was loved by you
The other would be Blackbird by the Beatles. It was playing on the sound system in the delivery room when my daughter was born.
Blackbird singing in the dead of night Take these broken wings and learn to fly All your life You were only waiting for this moment to arise
Blackbird singing in the dead of night Take these sunken eyes and learn to see All your life You were only waiting for this moment to be free
Blackbird fly, blackbird fly Into the light of the dark black night Blackbird fly, blackbird fly Into the light of the dark black night Blackbird singing in the dead of night Take these broken wings and learn to fly All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to arise You were only waiting for this moment to arise You were only waiting for this moment to arise

| Lyrics that move you Posted: 3/24/2007 5:03:57 PM | Holly Cole: Make it go Away
Make it go away or make it better Isnt that what love is supposed to do? Make it go away or make it better Cause I would do either one for you
This is not the way you should see me This is not the face I recognize Could I lay my head down here for a moment? Would you sing to me like Im your child?
Cause Im not angry Im not crying Im just in over my head You could be the angel that stayed on my shoulder When all of the other angels left
Make it go away Cause I am weak and This is more than one should have to take If you do this for me then I will promise Ill make it go away for you someday
There are reasons with silver linings There are lessons but I dont care Cause I just need a hand that I can hold onto When its darker than death out there
Oh, and Im so cold And so far away from my home But tonight youre Youre where I belong Youre everything right When Im everything wrong
So make it go away or make it better Isnt that what loves supposed to do? Just make it go away or make it better Cause I would do either one for you
Make it go away or make it better Isnt that what loves supposed to do? Just make it go away or make it better Cause I would do either one for you

| Lyrics that move you Posted: 3/24/2007 7:12:20 PM | Have never posted before, so unsure of how this works :)
But... imagine being the inspiration for this ("you are more beautiful when you awake, than most are in a lifetime") .. Gives me shivers!
Verve Pipe - Colourful
The show is over close the story book There will be no encore And all the random hands that I have shook Well they're reaching for the door I watch their backs as they leave single file But you stood stubborn, cheering all the while
I know I can be colourful I know I can be gray But I know this loser's living fortunate Cause I know you will love me either way
Most were being good for goodness sake But you wouldn't pantomime You are more beautiful when you awake Than most are in a lifetime Through the haze that is my memory well You stayed for drama though you paid for a comedy
I know I can be colourful I know I can be gray And I know this loser's living fortunate And I know you will love me either way
Look ahead as far as you can see We'll live in drama but we'll die in a comedy I know I can be colourful (When you live in black and white) I know I can be gray (My colours fade away) But I know this loser's living fortunate And I know you will love me either way

| Lyrics that move you Posted: 3/24/2007 8:14:21 PM | One of the songs that actually brings a tear to my eye is this one. Such a sad story:
"Cowboy Romance" By Natalie Merchant
It's a Saturday afternoon romance Between a cowboy and a fool...
A drunken meet up In a crude saloon A poor rocky mountain town He's a scoundrel and She's no pearl Together they are two lovers cruel
Got her balanced on his knee He knows exactly what to say "you ain't been born 'til you get out of town And honey, you might come with me
If you do . . . I'll spare the innocent ones And take you with me Together we will be drifters free"
Got her tangled in his arms She's a lusting, trusting fool "there's no man born that can rule me And that I've sworn But stranger if you do I'll belong to you
If you do . . . would you spare the innocent ones And take me with you? Can't you love the land And love me too?"
As he grows sober Sees his love anew In the morning light so true He gets on the move... On the move

| Lyrics that move you Posted: 3/24/2007 9:56:22 PM | Hi, Ive never written in to a forum, so heres hoping ! Music is such a big part of my life...different sounds for different moods, and so many songs bring back so many memories, sometimes good one, sometimes not so good...and some that remind me that all those memories are part of me and my life, and I love it !! Heres a few...
All in Good Time ~ Ron Sexsmith It only hurts when I breathe ~ Shania Twain Forever Young ~ Rod Stewart Im on my way ~ Proclaimers Rose Colored Glasses ~ John Connely (?) Watch Me ~ Lori Morgan Where No One Knows Me ~ Jann Arden Bless the Broken Road ~ Rascall Flatts I'm Moving On ~ Rascall Flatts
I'm Moving On lyrics
I've dealt with my ghosts and I've faced all my demons Finally content with a past I regret I've found you find strength in your moments of weakness For once I'm at peace with myself I've been burdened with blame, trapped in the past for too long I'm movin' on
I've lived in this place and I know all the faces Each one is different but they're always the same They mean me no harm but it's time that I face it They'll never allow me to change But I never dreamed home would end up where I don't belong I'm movin' on
I'm movin' on At last I can see life has been patiently waiting for me And I know there's no guarantees, but I'm not alone There comes a time in everyone's life When all you can see are the years passing by And I have made up my mind that those days are gone
I sold what I could and packed what I couldn't Stopped to fill up on my way out of town I've loved like I should but lived like I shouldn't I had to lose everything to find out Maybe forgiveness will find me somewhere down this road I'm movin' on
I'm movin' on I'm movin' on
Thanx | |

Take the Long Way Home
.... when you're up on the stage its so unbelievable, unforgettable, and they adore you
Then your wife thinks you're losing your sanity oh calamity.....
A few others (no lyrics ) Standing outside the Fire - Garth Brooks (a perfect "theme" song for POF) Songbird - Chris de Burgh I'll have to say I Love You in a song - Jim Croce I'm Scared - Burton Cummings (I'm not religious, but this is a powerfully emotional number)

| Lyrics that move you Posted: 3/25/2007 12:51:47 AM | Here's a few... I Hope You Dance - Lee Anne Womack No Fear - Terri Clark Concrete Angel - Martina Mcbride Travelin' Soldier - Dixie Chicks
IMHO these are all powerful words with a powerful message. For a performing musician I think these can be quite a "gut check" and perhaps a bit of a challege to get all the way through with 100 percent composure...
I Hope You Dance Lee Anne Womack I hope you never lose your sense of wonder, You get your fill to eat but always keep that hunger, May you never take one single breath for granted, God forbid love ever leave you empty handed, I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean, Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens, Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance, And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.
I hope you dance....I hope you dance.
I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance, Never settle for the path of least resistance Livin' might mean takin' chances but they're worth takin', Lovin' might be a mistake but it's worth makin', Don't let some hell bent heart leave you bitter, When you come close to sellin' out reconsider, Give the heavens above more than just a passing glance, And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.
I hope you dance....I hope you dance. I hope you dance....I hope you dance. ((Background vocals:) Time is a wheel in constant motion always rolling us along, Tell me who wants to look back on their years and wonder where those years have gone.)
I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean, Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens, Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance, And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.
Dance....I hope you dance. I hope you dance....I hope you dance. I hope you dance....I hope you dance.. ((Background vocals:) Time is a wheel in constant motion always rolling us along Tell me who wants to look back on their years and wonder where those years have gone)
No Fear Terri Clark I want a road stretching out before me I want a radio in my ear I want a full tank of absolution No Fear I want a rainstorm to pull me over Then a sky that begins to clear Towards the truest of destinations No Fear
(Chorus:) I used to hit every wall there was I used to run away from love All I ever wanted was right here But I had to reach way down inside I had to have faith I'd find No Fear
I want the world to just keep on turning I want the dawn in my rear view mirror I want to hear my own voice singing No Fear And when I need two arms around me And there's no one near When I'm alone let the only sound be No Fear
I used to hit every wall there was I used to run away from love All I ever wanted was right here But I had to reach way down inside I had to have faith I'd find No Fear
I want peace, love, and understanding A stogie and an ice cold beer Don't want to live afraid of dying
I used to hit every wall there was I used to run away from love All I ever wanted was right here But I had to reach way down inside I used to stay up all night long Wondering what I was doing wrong All I every needed was right here But I had to reach way down inside I had to have faith I'd find No Fear
Concrete Angel Martina McBride She walks to school with the lunch she packed Nobody knows what she's holdin' back Wearin' the same dress she wore yesterday She hides the bruises with linen and lace
The teacher wonders but she doesn't ask It's hard to see the pain behind the mask Bearing the burden of a secret storm Sometimes she wishes she was never born
Chorus: Through the wind and the rain She stands hard as a stone In a world that she can't rise above But her dreams give her wings And she flies to a place where she's loved Concrete angel
Somebody cries in the middle of the night The neighbors hear, but they turn out the lights A fragile soul caught in the hands of fate When morning comes it'll be too late
[Repeat Chorus]
A statue stands in a shaded place An angel girl with an upturned face A name is written on a polished rock A broken heart that the world forgot
[Repeat Chorus]
Song: Travelin' Soldier Artist: Dixie Chicks
Two days past eighteen He was waitin' for the bus in his army greens Sat down in a booth at a café there Gave his order to the girl with a bow in her hair He's a little shy so she gave him a smile So he said would you mind sittin' down for a while And talkin' to me I'm feelin' a little low She said I'm off in an hour and I know where we can go
So they went down and they sat on the pier He said I bet you got a boyfriend but I don't care I've got no one to send a letter to Would you mind if I sent one back here to you?
CHORUS: I cried Never gonna hold the hand of another guy Too young for him they told her Waitin' for the love of the travelin' soldier Our love will never end Waitin' for the soldier to come back again Never more to be alone When the letter says a soldier's coming home
So the letters came From an army camp In California then Vietnam And he told her of his heart It might be love And all of the things he was so scared of Said when it's gettin kinda rough over here I think about that day sittin' down on the pier And I close my eyes and see your pretty smile Don't worry but I won't be able to write for a while
CHORUS
One Friday night at a football game The Lord's Prayer said and the anthem sang A man said folks would you bow your heads For the list of local Vietnam dead Cryin' all alone under the stands Was the piccolo player in the marching band And one name read and no one really cared But a pretty little girl with a bow in her hair
CHORUS | |

| Lyrics that move you Posted: 3/25/2007 12:55:50 AM | Hey there Brianm1968ca, just curious but something about your pic caught my eye... Is the pic orientation correct and not "flipped over"? In other words, are you a left handed guitar player? If so, small world I also play in the manner known as left handed (right hand on fingerboard, pic/strum with left hand), although I don't think of myself as particularly left-handed. | |

| Lyrics that move you Posted: 3/25/2007 10:27:11 AM | Couple of other Springsteen songs If I Should Fall Behind
We said we'd walk together baby come what may That come the twilight should we lose our way If as we're walkin a hand should slip free I'll wait for you And should I fall behind Wait for me
We swore we'd travel darlin' side by side We'd help each other stay in stride But each lover's steps fall so differently But I'll wait for you And if I should fall behind Wait for me
Now everyone dreams of a love lasting and true But you and I know what this world can do So let's make our steps clear that the other may see And I'll wait for you If I should fall behind Wait for me
Now there's a beautiful river in the valley ahead There 'neath the oak's bough soon we will be wed Should we lose each other in the shadow of the evening trees I'll wait for you And should I fall behind Wait for me Darlin' I'll wait for you Should I fall behind Wait for me
Waiting on a Sunny day It's rainin' but there ain't a cloud in the sky Must of been a tear from your eye Everything'll be okay Funny, though I felt a sweet summer breeze Must of been your sighin' so deep Don't worry we're gonna find a way
I'm waitin', waitin' on a sunny day Gonna chase the clouds away Waitin' on a sunny day
Without you, I'm workin' with the rain fallin' down I'm half a party in a one dog town I need to chase these blues away Without you, I'm a drummer girl that can't keep a beat An ice cream truck on a deserted street I hope that you're coming to stay
I'm waitin', waitin' on a sunny day Gonna chase the clouds away Waitin' on a sunny day
Hard time, baby well they come to us all Sure as the tickin' of the clock on the wall Sure as the turnin' of the night into day Your smile girl, brings the mornin' light to my eyes Lifts away the blues when I rise I hope that you're coming to stay
I'm waitin', waitin' on a sunny day Gonna chase the clouds away Waitin' on a sunny day

| Lyrics that move you Posted: 3/25/2007 5:52:47 PM | So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell, blue skies from pain. Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail? A smile from a veil? Do you think you can tell? And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts? Hot ashes for trees? Hot air for a cool breeze? Cold comfort for change? And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage? How I wish, how I wish you were here. We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year, Running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here. | |

You are the one, I think I'm in love Life has begun
I can see the two of us together I know I'm gonna be with you forever Love couldn't be any better
[Repeat Chorus]
[Instrumental Solo]
I can see you with me when I'm older All my lonely nights are finally over You took the weight of the world off my shoulders (the world just goes away)

Some say the end is near. Some say we'll see armageddon soon. I certainly hope we will. I sure could use a vacation from this
Bullshit three ring circus sideshow of Freaks
Here in this hopeless ****ing hole we call LA The only way to fix it is to flush it all away. Any ****ing time. Any ****ing day. Learn to swim, I'll see you down in Arizona bay.
Fret for your figure and Fret for your latte and Fret for your lawsuit and Fret for your hairpiece and Fret for your prozac and Fret for your pilot and Fret for your contract and Fret for your car.
It's a Bullshit three ring circus sideshow of Freaks
Here in this hopeless ****ing hole we call LA The only way to fix it is to flush it all away. Any ****ing time. Any ****ing day. Learn to swim, I'll see you down in Arizona bay.
Some say a comet will fall from the sky. Followed by meteor showers and tidal waves. Followed by faultlines that cannot sit still. Followed by millions of dumbfounded dipshits.
Some say the end is near. Some say we'll see armageddon soon. I certainly hope we will cuz I sure could use a vacation from this
Stupid shit, silly shit, stupid shit...
One great big festering neon distraction, I've a suggestion to keep you all occupied.
Learn to swim. Learn to swim. Learn to swim.
Mom is going to fix it all soon, Mom is coming round to put it back the way it oughtta be...
Learn to swim.
**** L Ron Hubbard and **** all his clones. **** all these gun-toting Hip gangster wannabes.
Learn to swim.
**** retro anything. **** your tattoos. **** all you junkies and **** your short memory.
Learn to swim.
**** smiley glad-hands With hidden agendas. **** these dysfunctional, Insecure actresses.
Learn to swim.
Cuz I'm praying for rain And I'm praying for tidal waves I wanna see the ground give way. I wanna watch it all go down. Mom please flush it all away. I wanna see it go right in and down. I wanna watch it go right in. Watch you flush it all away.
Time to bring it down again. Don't just call me pessimist. Try and read between the lines.
I can't imagine why you wouldn't Welcome any change, my friend.
I wanna see it all come down. suck it down. flush it down.

| Lyrics that move you Posted: 4/18/2007 10:43:49 AM | George Burns - I Wish I Was 18 Again Lyrics
at a bar down in dallas an old man chimed in, and i thought he was out of his his head. just being a young man i just laughed it off when i heard what that old man had said.
he said i'll never again turn the young ladies heads, or go running off into the wind. i'm three quarters home from the start to the end. and i wish i was 18 again.
i wish i was 18 again. and going where i've never been. but old folks and old oaks standing tall just pretend. i wish i was 18 again.
now time turns the pages and oh, life goes so fast. the years turn the black hair all grey. i talked to some young folks, hey they don't understand the words this old man's got to say.
i wish i was 18 again. and going where i've never been. but old folks and old oaks standing tall just pretend. i wish i was 18 again.
lord, i wish i was 18 again!

| Lyrics that move you Posted: 4/18/2007 11:23:54 AM | My good friend Layah Jane and her award-winning song Reverence and Ridicule
chorus: says she “you all must be the change you wish to see” if I talk my speak but my walk is weak show me just how to be the change I wish to see
I endeavour to shed light on blindness speak my mind with patience and kindness you know what I’m doing, I’m scoping for hope there’s no better time to share how we cope if it’s not our own Mama Earth’s timeline we all have our own steady rate of decline to use as a context for our worry tell me, with one more day would you slow down or hurry?
chorus
give me a green, green valley and a clean, clean lake a solar-powered homestead so I don’t take more than my share, of what is there I’ll make a ginger tea to soothe me dance to music that moves me it’s amazing just what can be found when you stand bare-feet firmly planted on the ground it’s crazy just what you feel when you stop long enough to uncover what’s real blessings and beauty abound in this life on this planet so fertile and round
chorus
it’s a battle uphill on a slippery slope when there’s no woman in this business who has not been groped by the hand of the industry’s standard of disguise we are curling our lashes, instead of seeing through lies how cute do we look in our brand-name clothes? is that what sells our records over how our music flows? what do we activate, multiple, replicate? are you taking care with your share? are you waxing clever, or highlighting your hair?
chorus
you can keep your radio song take the next one too when it comes along crafting your chorus for top dollar the burden of your choices pressing your collar I wonder sometimes if I have it in me the resilience it takes to not let it win me is my skin too thin? or has it grown thicker since I chose to begin this journey of projection of sound we make in a room when there is no one else around if I cannot get where I want to go without stepping on my sisters who also want to grow then this is not for me I’ll take my thin-skinned integrity over pushing and shoving to win the audience we so greedily seek if all of us were listening, what would you speak?
chorus
if all those with mass distribution were using their power for peaceful revolution I would rest easy in my bed I would drain all the worry from my weary head but, no, in my own tiny corner of this place I am working to define my own little space if I cause someone to feel a little deeper walk on the path that’s just a little bit steeper perhaps I have done what I can maybe my mission went as planned…
what do you have at the end of your day? are you loving as wide as you can in your way? what would you scrawl down, what would you say if I hit play?

| Lyrics that move you Posted: 4/18/2007 4:51:56 PM | There's a few songs that get me at different times .. depending on how long it's been since I've heard them:
Elvis Presley - In the Ghetto
As a crowd gathers round an angry young man face down in the street with a gun in hand in the ghetto And as her young man dies On a cold and gray Chicago mornin another baby child is born, in the ghetto And his mama cries
Reba - He Gets that from Me
He said he sure misses you, he really misses you He gets that from me.
Sherrif - When I'm With You
I never needed love, like I need you And I never lived for nobody but I live for you OOOOOO babe, lost in love is what I feel when I'm with you
Alabama - Feels so Right Goo Goo Dolls - Iris Neil Diamond - Forever in Blue Jeans

| Lyrics that move you Posted: 4/19/2007 1:31:41 PM | This was Written By frank Zappa more than 20 years ago...and it is perhaps more relevant and important today.
They got lies so big They don't make a noise They tell 'em so well Like a secret disease That makes you go numb
With a big ol' lie And a flag and a pie And a mom and a bible Most folks are just liable To buy any line Any place, any time
When the lie's so big As in Robertson's case, (That sinister face Behind all the Jesus hurrah)
Could result in the end To a worrisome trend In which every American Not "born again" Could be punished in cruel and unusual ways By this treacherous cretin Who tells everyone That he's Jesus' best friend
When the lie's so big And the fog gets so thick And the facts disappear The Republican Trick Can be played out again People, please tell me when We'll be rid of these men!
Just who do they really Suppose that they are? And how did they manage to travel as far As they seem to have come? Were we really that dumb?
People, wake up Figure it out Religious fanatics Around and about The Court House, The State House, The Congress, The White House
Criminal saints With a "Heavenly Mission" -- A nation enraptured By pure superstition
When the lie's so big And the fog gets so thick And the facts disappear The Republican Trick Can be played out again People, please tell me when We'll be rid of these men

| Lyrics that move you Posted: 9/8/2008 10:13:39 PM | There are WAY too many for me to list them all.............and all for different reasons. Just to name a few....................
Twelfth of Never - Johnny Mathis Just Got Started Loving You - James Otto Letters From Home - John Michael Montgomery When It Rains, I Pour - Gretchen Wilson Nothing On But the Radio & Man To Man - Gary Allan
The only song I've ever come across though, that literally makes me cry every single time........no matter WHAT kind of mood I am in, is "I Will Take Care Of You" by Amy Sky.............
On a September afternoon in nineteen sixty one A baby girl's first cry rang out a new life had begun Her mother rocked her in her arms and she kissed the tiny brow-and she said "Darling I'm just as scared as you But i promise you somehow" I will take care of you the very best that I can With all of the love here in my heart and all of the strength in my hands Your every joy I'll share for every tear I'll be there my whole life through I will take care of you On a September afternoon in nineteen eighty five that little girl had grown into a beautiful young bride She turned to the man who held her hand in front of the waiting crowd They smiled at each other as they spoke and this was their wedding vow I will take care of you the very best that I can With all of the love here in my heart and all of the strength in my hands Your every joy I'll share for every tear i'll be there my whole life through I will take care of you On a September afternoon In nineteen eighty nine The girl waited by a hospital bed Never leaving her mother's side And she said "Mama why don't you close your eyes try to get some rest It's my turn to take care of you and I learned from the best I will take care of you" On a September afternoon In nineteen ninety one A baby girl's first cry rang out A new life has begun...

| Lyrics that move you Posted: 9/9/2008 9:07:29 AM | Nice to see this thread make an appearance again. Music is a big part of my life. Like many others, I also use music for many things, enjoyment, comfort, fun, relief..and so much more. Music can say so much when in fact it doesn't have to say much at all. It just affects me.
I posted last year in this thread...and of course over time, more music comes up, you hear other pieces that just do something to you.
*You Raise Me Up - Josh Groban (for my son - he is 11 and loves Josh) *I Hope You Dance - LeeAnn Womack (Lyrics posted above in previous post) *I Sing Because I'm Happy - Lauren Hill *Angels Among Us - Alabama (for my Grandmother - her favourite, she was and still is even though she not with us on earth now)
Some many come to mind, depending on the moment and what's going on with me and in my life. Some have much more meaning than others...
Music touches the soul!

| Lyrics that move you Posted: 9/9/2008 9:24:28 AM | The lyrics for the songs from my best friends new album just kill me. There are so many killer songs on there and when the album is released, people will be blown away. Every time I hear him sing these songs, I get all teary and weepy...they are so moving and each one has some relevance to our friendship and how deep it goes. So, watch for it this winter. The album is 80% completed and will be released late Jan or Feb of 09 through EMI Records and it will be called Dirty Kisses! Trust me folks...you want lyrics that will move you, there are plenty on that album to make you flip! | |

| Lyrics that move you Posted: 9/10/2008 2:55:44 PM | Short People Randy Newman
Short People got no reason Short People got no reason Short People got no reason To live
They got little hands And little eyes And they walk around Tellin' great big lies They got little noses And tiny little teeth They wear platform shoes On their nasty little fett
Well, I don't want no Short People Don't want no Short People Don't want no Short People Round here
Short People are just the same As you and I (A Fool Such As I) All men are brothers Until the day they die (It's A Wonderful World)
Short People got nobody Short People got nobody Short People got nobody To love
They got little baby legs And they stand so low You got to pick 'em up Just to say hello They got little cars That got beep, beep, beep They got little voices Goin' peep, peep, peep They got grubby little fingers And dirty little minds They're gonna get you every time Well, I don't want no Short People Don't want no Short People Don't want no Short People 'Round here
