Posted: 10/27/2007 2:21:53 PM | Oh man, that's awful, derrdevil! I was ok kissing my smoker ex-husband, but I don't think I ever noticed the cigarette smell eminating from his pores. Another bad bed partner deal breaker: (Kissing is totally out--especially spontaneous) Tobacco/Snuff dippers....it makes a mess everywhere AND it's way too addictive, so they can't stop.(Not saying impossible.)
Imagine trying to be amorous on a bed with little brown/black flakes of tobacco everywhere.....Yuck! | |

Example:
"Do you like when I do that?"
"Oh yeah, I was making out with a guy a few years ago who first did that to me and I thought I was going to go CRAZY!"
Stuff like that, and sometimes far more graphic. I finally told her I didn't like hearing it. She stopped doing it, but still slips up now and again, giving me a nice visual of her getting banged by some other guy.

It is agonizing to endure that sh*t night after night. I ended up sleeping in ear plugs which caused me to have extensive ear infections. It is nothing short of a tiny piece of heaven to be able to crawl into bed at night & peacefully go to sleep. | |

Another was one of those people who were cold ALL THE TIME! Doesn't matter if it was 100 degrees out, she wanted blankets, long pjs, socks, etc. All this while I am burning up, sleeping on top of the covers and she is buried beneath all of that. | |

Posted: 5/30/2008 5:45:54 AM | I think the best thing a person or couple can do to get a good nights rest is to buy a bigger bed. The most restful nights sleep I've ever had while sharing a bed was in a king size bed. It actually felt like I was sleeping alone because of all the room it afforded me to get comfortable without disturbing the person sleeping next to me.
One thing that I can't stand though is someone who eats in bed, especially chips or crackers. I can't sleep with crumbs in the bed nor do I like the smell of food in the air when I'm trying to sleep. It's just one of the reasons I don't have a tv in my bedroom. | |

She would drink whiskey and piss the bed. Hey, most of us enjoy partying a bit, but when you repeatedly get so drunk that you wet yourself, you have a problem. She began to drink whiskey every single night we were together and talking to her about it did no good. Sometimes she would get up in the middle of the night and start drinking. The third time she pissed the bed I was done. It is no fun to awaken in a puddle of someone else's urine at 3 a.m. when you have to get up and go to work at 5. We remained friends, but the romantic relationship was over. It was a shame because she is a gorgeous brunette with a Playboy body and has a great personality when she is not drinking. But only one person can win that battle for her. She has to do it herself and as far as I know, she has still not won it and shows no interest in beating it. | |
