That was the Ohio Express who also did Chewy Chewy, Sweeter Than Sugar, and Beg, Borrow Or Steal. I think my first record was Mary Poppins, the LP given to me by my mother for my birthday back I think in 1965.

First cassette I dont remember but my first cd I ever bought was Collin Raye "I Think About You". Got all his CDs now but love this cd the best.

| Frist Album/cassette/CD? Posted: 4/14/2007 2:31:30 PM | My first cassette - which would have been the first "album" that I bought with my own money - was News of the World, by Queen. It's the one with We Will Rock You, and Get Down Make Love on it, among other favourites such as We Are the Champions. I'd never heard of them before, but really liked the cassette cover artwork featuring a giant robot lol
My Grandfather was horrified that I'd bought rock music, quickly giving me a cassette by a band that he considered to be more wholesome and appropiate for a young boy: Jackson 5.
yeah, no kidding lol | |
